The Blue Origin founder apparently sides firmly with Sir Patrick Stewart's portrayal of Picard from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" when picking the best starship captain from the "Star Trek" franchise. Of course, that may be because Bezos hung out with Stewart at a recent event
"Kirk or Picard? Picard!" Bezos wrote on Twitter Saturday (March 10)...

Don't care how he got her, he got her.
BTW: they're all in it for the money these days. Trust me on this. I know. First hand. And I ain't falling for it. I'm too old, too wise and don't need the drama even if the sex is awesome.

Your comment “GO... SpaceX!!!!” seems to be associating Bezos with Space X. Thats how I got the idea.

I watched very little of DS9.

There’s only one Captain that can pull off a convincing shoulder roll. Plus Kirk is willing to do the chick banging that all aliens are unwilling to do.

Kirk was a Captain. Picard was an office manager.

No, you are just not reading what I wrote correctly and taking it into your very own context. Plus, you are being very pigheaded and not admitting you are wrong. My "Go SpaceX!" cannot in any way, form or fashion be construed to mean I am saying that Jeff Bezos owns SpaceX--
That is entirely your mislaid opinion alone!

Q was afraid to even take on Kirk. :-)

Always Kirk first. Picard was lockstep with that reduculous prime directive. Kirk gave it a wink and a nod. Yup. "Captain these people are being wiped out by a plague that we can stop easily and nobody will ever even know we were there. Their civilization is advanced with art, culture, a rich history of centuries of peace and they will all be dead in days if we don't act!" Picard sips his tea, reaponds. "Government regulations on this point are clear. This plague, as you refer to it, is a natural part of their environment with as much right to life as these people do. More so, in fact, if you consider the damage done to the rest of the eco-system by the people. Allowing them to die may be seen as an act of compassion, one of greater good. Prepare for warp, we're out of here."
Lot to admire there. I guess.

Kirk made decisions. Picard was a bureaucrat who did nothing without a committee.
