What Elementary School Did You Go To?
You don't have to mention the name.
Mine was a Catholic School,1st Grade through 8th Grade,learned a lot,those Nuns where tuff;)
The only permanent structure was the 'cafetorium'. That building still exists, but the rest of the school is now a park. The bungalows were taken out sometime in the '70's if memory serves.
Mom put me right into First Grade,I was smart;)
I am now so old that the first elementary school, which was four rooms and one big basement classroom, was tripled in size and became a continuing ed school thirty years ago and the new one that was built when I was leaving third grade has served its useful life and was torn down to make way for an Assisted Living Center.
Shawnee Mission School district, Johnson County, Kansas.
The same teachers who taught my mom. I just made them famous.
St. Thomas the Apostle.
Ben-Hem
Yep. My dad was USAF and we moved every few years.
It was cool.
I went to Sydney V. Roland Elementary in Radnor, PA next door to the corporate headquarters of TV Guide during the years 1959-64. Wyeth Labs was on another side and Burroughs Computer on another. The school is long gone.
Le Conte Elementary, Berkeley CA. Started Kindergarten there in 1955.
Once a nice school in a nice town, now a Leftist s***hole with mostly non-English speaking students. The school is going to change its name I hear because Le Conte was a “racist.”
California is dead to me.
Saint Lawrence. Carroll, Iowa
Pearl Harbor Elementary School, Hawaii
The one my oldest brother went to was torn down about 50 years ago.
Winfield Scott Elementary, Fort Scott, Kansas, K-2.
Both my wife and I were so blessed to born into families that loved us enough to homeschool us.
Went to St. Bernard’s in Windsor Ontario, Canada. Eh.
1st thru 8th, eh.
Alphabet A thru Zeed. Eh.
St. Joseph nuns. Eh.
I started 1st Grade at a one room school in York County, PA. One teacher taught grades 1 through 8. That was 1944. Midway through 4th Grade, we moved to another area in York County and we attended another one room school. In 1948 we moved again, still in York County, with a Consolidated Elementary School, where each grade had its own room. Then all new schools were built in 1952, the old schools were abandoned, and we were up to date.
My dad went to Southwest HS, and my mom was at Jefferson(?) HS. I went to Concord Elementary. My old high school hockey team just beat the Armstrong-Cooper (combined just for the hockey team) as the State Hockey tournament is just getting started.
1rst grade and half of 2nd at a small private school (grades 1 - 4) on the naval base in Norfolk.
The rest of 2nd grade and all of 3rd grade at a public school in St Pete, Fl. Then a public school in Panama City, FL for 4th and a public school in Panama City Beach for 5th. Finally, finished up with 6th grade at the same school in St Pete where I attended 2nd & 3rd.
I was raised by wolves.
