The CHP is investigating a bizarre road rage incident in the North County. Cell phone video shows a man out of his car arguing with a driver inside an SUV in the fast lane of Highway 78. At one point, the man spits into the car and starts walking back to his car. The SUV then starts to move towards the man and clips the backside of a car causing the SUV to flip over on its side, while the man drives away. It's unclear what sparked the violence, but the CHP wants to talk to those involved.

I would not spontaneously edit myself if I saw something like that in RL. You would hear a LOT of “holy sh!ts” and the like from me.
You see something, you grab the phone and record but I would not suggest anyone would self-edit.
And until you mentioned it she did not sound particularly black — and if she is, why does that matter?
I live right off of that stretch of 78 and the traffic on that road is aggravating during most hours of the day.
Seeing this doesn’t surprise me very much. I dread having to take that route.
Looked to me like the right front wheel climbed the side of the car too fast for anything else to factor in.

It was a perfect storm of mass, momentum, and leverage.
Maybe the SUV bumped into the car ahead and that's what caused the guy to get out.
Then why didn't the CHP talk to the driver that rolled as he lay sideways on the freeway?

As annoying as it can be coming back and sitting in line to get back on 78 from 15, sitting at Del Mar on I-5 is even worse. :)

It’s just not worth it. The guy who got out of the car was just as foolish. He had no way to know that the SUV driver wouldn’t pull out a gun and shoot him dead, or get out and beat him up. Is it worth your life or getting beaten up to chew somebody out over some traffic irritation?
Glad I left North County.
I believe this was near college headed east. Not in the traffic flow to change freeways. IIRC
There is along line of traffic to exit at college.
