I commute Vista-Poway-Vista every day.

It’s got me thinking about early retirement.

I can empathize easily. I am frequently going from Vista to Poway, Sorrento Valley, Miramar, etc, and whenever it is best to use I-15.

As annoying as it can be coming back and sitting in line to get back on 78 from 15, sitting at Del Mar on I-5 is even worse. :)

I used to live off the Emerald Rd exit, just beyond this incident. Live in FL now, but each time we come back to visit our daughter in Escondido, I’m amazed at the traffic and congestion. Driving 78, which I did for most of my adult life, is now a nightmare. I don’t think there’s much than could entice me to move back there.
