Am I so old that they don’t have history for my birth year? No toys back then?

LOL. I suck. Toys don’t even go back to the year I was born evidently.

That was my first thought. We must have been born in the Dark Ages. I remember getting something like this plastic rocket ship drinking cup for Christmas in the 50's:
Rocket Ship Cup
My mother also used to buy all of us kids a special Christmas package of Life Savers. It was packaged like a book. You undid the tab and it opened up, and contained all different flavors on both sides of the pages. My favorite was clove and wintergreen, but they don't even make the clove flavor anymore.

Ya. Life was tough. :)
Like me, you probably had to make your toys out of rocks and sticks and mud.

Me too. But it didn’t matter because we were poor. My old Dad used to say to me, ‘Money doesn’t buy you happiness.’ And he was right. I was happier then and I had NOTHIN’. We used to live in this tiiiny old house, with greaaaaat big holes in the roof. We had no need for toys then.

My birth year is not even on that list. I feel so old that I wanted a wheel when they first came out. A fire was second! 😋

Am I so old that they dont have history for my birth year? No toys back then? Same here. I guess there weren't any toys in the 50s.
On the other hand, what's the use of a toy on the year you were born? Should have been the year you turned 6 or 7...

Noticed that, too.
Where is the toy from my birth year (1955).

Am I so old that they dont have history for my birth year? No toys back then? Very few toys in 1938. They had coal and cinders for stockings.
