I know you want to believe it, but it’s a total smear. Again, you have absolutely ZERO evidence, as the article you referenced points out. But the campaign shamefully spread this smear, which they know to be false, and then tried to deny responsibility for it.

You keep saying I want to believe it. You never specify what I want to believe. Nevertheless, what you’re doing is called “assigning motives.” It’s as unhealthy a psychological practice as you’ll find anywhere. Nor does it speak well of your ability to carry on a discussion based on facts and logic.
Carpenter went on a tweet-deleting spree of epic proportions. Look it up. If her tweets were innocent, why did she delete them like a house on fire?
