Vanity - If Republicans win in New jersey & Virginia....the Democrat Party dies politically.

Posted on 10/23/2017 4:39:25 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

Attn: All legitimate/legal voters in New Jersey & Virginia need to come out and vote "Republican" this coming Election day, November 7, 2017. Forget the candidates, yes, they matter, for sure, but, Democrat Party losses in both New Jersey & Virginia will be devastating to the future of the Democrat Party.

Actually the loss of just Virgina, in itself will have nearly the same result, because New Jersey is considered a safe Democrat seat. However, the polls are now tightening in New Jersey and the Republican, Ed Gillispie is either tied or leading in Virginia.

You voters best think long and hard, about yourselves, your kids, your families and your futures. If you really want Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer,Tom Perez, Maxine Waters, Frederica Wilson, The failed NFL, etc., ranting, raving & inciting relative causing fatal or life threatening harm to our POTUS, Donald J. Trump & our "Law Enforcement Officers" & "Military Folks", then hang in there with the Democrat Party, America destroyers, and go down the drain of certain, national failure.

The Democrat Party has no identifiable political agenda, other them political obstruction and bad mouthing the great American nation. They support or offer nothing, no immigration plans, no tax relief or tax cuts, no infrastructure renewal, etc. They are a total "adrift-at-sea-political party" causing their very own political self-destruction.

By you voting for the Republican candidates in New Jersey & Virginia, you give them, the assistance & diorection to speed up the self destruction wishes.

I guess my underlying point is not getting through. The reason we have awful choices at election time is because most of us sit on our hands.

The turnouts at primaries (when candidates are chosen for the general) is pathetic. Sometimes the turnouts are less than 10 per cent. Of course, in those situations, the establishment candidates from both parties are going to easily move on to the general.

So it starts with the primaries.

Steve Bannon is putting together a decent slate of candidates for the 2018 congressional elections but the success will depend on our participation in the upcoming primaries. If we continue to "sit it out" - nothing will change.

There is no way Ed G. losing is a Trump loss. That’s funny.

Unfortunately Virginia, by having off-year elections, is NOT the hill to die on, especially with New Jersey pretty much considered a Democrat lock.

Virginia is the ONLY state having a competitive race for governor or Senator this November (i.e., no Senators are up this off-year), so Virginia is a NATIONAL ELECTION regarding its implications. If the people of Virginia don’t like that, they should change their election cycle and join the 35 or so other states that have governorship elections on even-numbered mid-term years (with 2018 being next), then Virginia will be treated as a local/regional election.

So, being that Virginia is National Election, the conclusions will be one of the following:
1) If the RINO wins, the Democrats will be in DEEP SHIITE and have some real work ahead just to survive as a national party.

2) If the RINO loses in a close race due to Republican purists staying home, a total of 10,000 people (nearly all in Virginia) will get the right message - which is that nominating RINOs will cause much of the base to stay at home. The other 349,990,000 Americans will be told that VIRGINIA REJECTED TRUMP...and that Republicans better stand up to Trump if they don’t want to also go down.

Again, this is due to Virginia’s election cycle - we accomplish NOTHING for our side if we let the RINO lose - instead we give the Democrat Party JUST WHAT THEY NEED going into 2018, a MAJOR VICTORY OVER TRUMP (regardless of what the 10,000 insiders actually know).

I couldn't agree more about not sitting out primaries, but I also think it is naive to ignore the challenges (challenges which are a direct result of voting for people like McCain and Bush in general elections, even though we know or knew where their real interests lay). Challenge number 1: most primary voters are going to be party regulars. Party regulars will generally side with the establishment. Challenge number 2: it is very easy for the establishment to sneak in a fake "non-establishment" candidate, thus rendering the opposition voice neutered. Challenge number 3: the establishment can limit "their" candidates to one, by fiat, whereas the opposition will invariably split their support. Challenge number 4: the establishment will have access to the party's money, and the party's infrastructure. Challenge number 5: the establishment will also have the support of the left (the democrats, the media, universities, and big voting blocks like AA churches), at least when fending off any real opposition candidate. Challenge number 6: all of the rules of the primaries have been written specifically to protect incumbents. Challenge number 7: if the establishment finds themselves in a situation where they are in a run-off, they can always pull a Mississippi. Challenge number 8: if the establishment loses a primary, they can always pull an Alaska. Challenge number 9: if an opposition candidate actually does win, then there are countless opportunities to turn them once in office. Challenge number 10: if all else fails, they can pull a Trump, and the entire DC establishment can turn on them.

Basically, opposition has to overcome an endless series of hurdles, each one more challenging than the last, whereas the establishment only has to win once. I am all for challenging the establishment in the primaries (although I am under no illusions that it can work, in the long run, due to the inherent advantages that the establishment has). But the problem is this: all of these hurdles exist, and are so big, because we have consistently failed to think long term, and have consistently voted for the lesser of two evils. We gave the Republican Wing of the Democratic Party this power, because we always held our noses and allowed them into power.

We need to stop doing that. We need to understand that in the long run, the bones they throw us just are not worth it. This starts by sitting out the VA governors' race.

Remember, good folks in Virginia, voting for Republican, Ed Gillipie and then Gillispie winning the Governor’s seat in VA, just insures that our real champion “Corey Stewart” will be chosen as the Republican Senate Candidate next year, 2018, and will massively defeat that absolute Barack Hussein Obama/Hillary Clinton moron, lunatic, communist, America Hater, Democrat, Senator, Tim Kaine. Gillispie for Governor....MAGA....Corey Stewart for USA Senator from Virginia....MAGA!!!

I think the Republicans have a chance in Virginia but not in New Jersey.

I would love for the Democrats to lose both to keep their losing streak since Trump was elected going strong. The last thing any of us should want is for the Democrats to build any sense of enthusiasm among their base going into the Congressional elections next year.

“Eddie G losing sends the right message to the primary voters. No more establishment.”

It does send the right message to 10,000 people or so who are immersed in Virginia Republican politics.

...and the MEDIA gets to decide what message it sends to the rest of the country. They can say one of two things:
1) This was a local election and the Virginia Republican Party was SENT A MESSAGE by the base to stop nominating RINOs.
2) OR - the media can say that TRUMP WAS TOTALLY REJECTED by the voters of Virginia.

I think most here know which way the media will spin it.

The people that vote in primaries, especially Republican primaries, are MSM savvy. They know the score. They know an Eddie win is a Rove win too. They know that it is a defeat for MAGA.

“So what message does an Eddie Amnesty win send?”

With our media today, something like “...in a local election that was decided primarily on local matters like local taxes and local water works, the RINO squeaked out a small victory due to Democrats not even being informed of this local election...”.

But in the Democrat Party, the message will be LOUD AND CLEAR...

If I’m not mistaken the legislature is Republican.
Ed is the kind of guy who is not very strong. He needs people who would “lead” him. If I am correct, we stand a chance. If I am wrong, at least we had a chance. With a Dem...NO Chance. Guess I’ll remain quaint.

If you replace McCain and the other RINO Senators with DemocRats then Chuckie Schumer will be Senate Majority Leader and none of Trump’s judicial and other appointments will ever even make it to the floor for a vote,

Luckily for Gillispie the democrat Northram has all the personality of a dead shrub.
If the dems had chosen someone with personality and charisma Gillispie would be dead meat. Northram isn’t exciting the few hard core democrats I know.

Ed Gillispie isn’t my first choice but I will be damned if I let a leftist whacko like Northram win because my first choice didn’t make the cut.
Even if I have to hold my nose I will be voting for Ed Gillispie on Nov 7.
Virginia can’t take two democrat governors in a row.
