If you replace McCain and the other RINO Senators with DemocRats then Chuckie Schumer will be Senate Majority Leader and none of Trump’s judicial and other appointments will ever even make it to the floor for a vote,

This is a governors race, not a senate race.

Replacing McCain and others with Democrats will yield some short term losses. Nobody would argue with that. McCain and other infiltrators are quite good at throwing just enough bones around that main street voters have a short-term interest in keeping them in power. The problem is long-term: had the voters in Arizona refused the temptation to think short term, and had not elected McCain, 2 decades ago, the problem would be solved. There would have been a Democratic Senator for 6 years. But, over time, Republicans (real Republicans not hostile to middle America) would have emerged, and faced substantially fewer obstacles to getting into office. In other words, the damage would have been short term; but the positive results would last a life-time.

Here is the underlying problem. Because of the nature of primaries, it is statistically impossible to remove a critical mass of establishment Republicans. We may be able to remove a few, but the bulk would remain. And, as a result, the Republican Wing of the Democratic Party would be a cancer that never went away, and would relentlessly grow. However, we do have the ability to purge that cancer. The Republican Wing of the Democratic Party has one Achilles' heel (and, unfortunately, one one Achilles' heel) -- they are completely dependent upon Republican voters voting for the lesser of two evils. Maybe, after amnesty, they can rid themselves of even that Achilles' heel, but, for the moment, they are entirely dependent on middle America voting in their short term interest, and voting against their long term interest.

It is true that appointments last a long time. But they are not the only thing. Ultimately, the fate of this country rests solely with the answer to one question: can a political force emerge that has the capacity to effectively resist the relentless leftist surge that has been dramatically reshaping this country (and many other countries), over the last few decades?
