"Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode in Halloween Movie, coming to theaters October 19, 2018," Universal Studios Entertainment said on its Facebook page Friday.
No other details about the project were immediately released, but the post did include a photo of Curtis standing outside a house with white-masked, serial killer Michael Myers in the doorway behind her, holding a knife. A jack o'lantern is on the porch by her feet.
Laurie appears in six of the existing 10 Halloween movies. Curtis played the role in four installments from 1978 to 2002 and Scout Taylor-Compton portrayed the character in two re-boot features released 2007-09.

Jamie is cool. She is married to rock legend Nigel Tufnel, formerly of Squatney in the East End, who somehow managed to become Lord Haden-Guest.
How about "Bottle Shock"? She had more lines as a bartender than Glenne Headly did as the bartender in the first X-Files movie.

She is a real, real loon. Nice figure though. She is full on lib so I doubt the film will get many of us to watch it, plus Hollywood seems not to be able to do anything original anymore, not that I would watch.

I saw Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband in person in a casual setting (two or more decades ago). She had on very little makeup and I thought she was one of the best looking women alive. I later read that she had done some cosmetic surgery before then, but nothing that looked fake - no gigantic silicone bags or bee-sting lips. As for personality, she didn’t have the Hollywood looking-to-trade-up quirks. She and her husband seemed to be a great match. None of us talked politics, so nothing spoiled the image. Among liberals, she is a rare one who looks beautiful and seems well adjusted.
