Maine Gov. Paul LePage suggested Thursday that his relationship with the media has deteriorated to the point that he devises ways to mislead reporters....LePage used three words to the Maine press — “vile,” “useless” and “inaccurate.” He went on to say that society will be much better off when the printed press goes away.
Apparently, his regard for reporters is low enough that he goes out of his way to fabricate stories that he knows the press will chase.
“I just love to sit in my office and make up ways so they’ll write these stupid stories. I mean, they are just so stupid it’s awful,” LePage said.

Too old for that, but I must admit it would be fun being a Senator or Governor during the Trump admin. These are good times. I forgot who our last president was.
If Gov. LePage’s tactics succeed in making the leftist media write fake stories about something he said (i.e. his “trap” words), then he can write a book entitled “The Art of the Squeal” about the suckered in and stuck-pig squealing media who bought his stories, hook, line and sinker (or in the case of politicians, “hookers, slime and stinkers”).
This guy should have been Trump’s running mate because he’s a soulmate, not an Establishment politician like Mike Pence.
I am sad that I just recently had to move from Maine.....Lepage is a decent man and Maine is going to slide backwards when his term ends.........

He said his pen was going on vacation. The press said HE was going on vacation. LOL.
Only after Trump had pretty well sewn up the primary race. The week before that, LePage was not complimentary of Trump.
reality is LePage is not going to beat an incumbent popular Senator. Trying to unseat incumbents with unlimited resources to call on is not the best strategic move.
I love LePage and I want him to go to the Senate. Collins is sick, and failing, and she is RINO in the fullest sense of the word. Have her step down and have LePage finish her term. He will then run and win.
He's one of a kind, for sure. Daniel Wathen is a decent man too. I was pretty sad that he didn't win the governorship when he ran.
It's a wonder LePage was elected, given the "good old boys" club system.
LePage is great...I hope he runs against King...
