California Use to be a STATE, NOT A COUNTRY !!

Jerry, (GET HELP)

California use to be a STATE, NOT A COUNTRY!

With President Donald Trump pulling the U.S. out of the Paris climate accord, China and California signed an agreement Tuesday to work together on reducing emissions, as the state's governor warned that "disaster still looms" without urgent action.

Gov. Jerry Brown told The Associated Press at an international clean energy conference in Beijing that Trump's decision to pull the U.S. out of the Paris agreement will ultimately prove only a temporary setback.

For now, he said, China, European countries and individual U.S. states will fill the gap left by the federal government's move to abdicate leadership on the issue.

"Nobody can stay on the sidelines. We can't afford any dropouts in the tremendous human challenge to make the transition to a sustainable future," Brown said. "Disaster still looms and we've got to make the turn."

Brown later held a closed-door meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, during which the two pledged to expand trade between California and China with an emphasis on so-called green technologies that could help address climate change, Brown said. Trump's announcement last week that he wants to pull out of the Paris accord did not come up, according to the governor.

Too bad that treaty is unenforceable and Gov. Brown committed treason by signing a treaty which is reserved to be approved by the US Senate and signed by the POTUS.

Brown later held a closed-door meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping

Wait - the California governor had a secret meeting with the head of a Communist superstate?

Was it collusion? Did he conspire with the dictator to tamper with elections in the United States? Did he ask for help that would keep him in office? Did he violate the Brown Act by doing this?

it is not a treaty it is a non binding agreement just as there are many states that have agreements with forgiven countries as well as sister cities.

California was a self declared Republic for about 3 weeks in 1846.

Just one example of crazy liberals in California:

Sausalito - across the bay from San Francisco - had declared themselves a nuclear free zone.

Yeah, that's really going to work when North Korea lobs a nuke at them.

A Disturbing trend is sweeping liberal towns all across America- read of another town in NY today that is going to enforce the paris regulations on their own on it’s citizens- this is going to spread from town to town- States and towns now feel as though they have a right to ignore this president and do whatever they heel they feel like=-

the way hey get around it is by simply saying they are NOT in the treaty, but ARE enforcing the regulations as a ‘matter of grave environmental concern’

The bottom line of Trump pulling the US out of the Paris global scheme to tap the US taxpayer's wallet for trillions of dollars, is that we're off the hook for the trillions of dollars now. That's the only reason everyone is screaming bloody murder at Trump because these Leftists need our money.

That being the case, all of the cities and states claiming they are going to "honor" the Paris accord anyway, will have to pony-up their own money to play the game.

And I can guarantee you that the cities and states that are "resisting" Trump on this and bragging about going it alone, are all liberal-infested areas that have no money to put where their mouths are flapping at now.

This whole thing is a Leftist/globalist dream to control the world and it's wealth. It was all voluntary to the 190-some countries who signed on. Voluntary. Guess how many will reach whatever goal the elites set? Zero. None of these countries will do any more than they are doing now. Because nobody can make them. There are no incentives and no mandates. Some agreement.

The entire situation is, not ironically, just like Moonbeam's little choochoo - a great idea on paper, clueless in execution and at the end of the day, just ends up stealing money from the people and handing it to Democrat supporters (to further fund Democrat campaigns.)

California has been at the forefront of the rip off of taxpayers to fund ‘green technology’ - billions in government dollars blown (in most cases, blown within months.)

So does it much matter what Brown says in Beijing? Not particularly, especially with a half billion being blown to repair the damage from not done maintenance that Los Angeles DWP refused to fund (as they are contractually obligated to do so.)

Is there any state attorney general going after these government monstrosities that can successfully promise tens of billions in employee benefits but can't live up to the basic obligations of the water supply needed for their customers? Nope.

Eventually, there will be a horrible reckoning in California, likely after a huge earthquake and tens of millions suddenly homeless and very hungry (not to mention incredibly thirsty.)

“Too bad that treaty is unenforceable and Gov. Brown committed treason by signing a treaty which is reserved to be approved by the US Senate and signed by the POTUS.”

Your statement is absolutely true, and cannot be argued about by any rational person.

Unfortunately, we are not dealing with rational people.,
