“Reach out” is horrible! Makes me cringe and want to slap someone every time.

I think most of those phrases are highly useful. Sure, styles change, but if they do their job communicating a thought or idea succinctly, that is a good thing.
I know what a guy means when he uses the phrase “paradigm shift”. And it takes a lot more words to communicate the same thought without using those two.
The single phrase that annoys me is “robust”, if only because it is overused. i.e. it is used where it does not really apply. It’s become a sort of marketing term.

I think most of those are bad because they are squishy terms. What does “reporting metrics” really mean, anyway.
But as a Business Analyst, I use the phrase “scope creep” all the time. Usually I’ll say, as someone wants to add functionality after the development phase has begun, “that sounds kinda scope creepy.” “Scope Creep” communicates a clear position.
