Mass Effect: Andromedas Racist Game Designer No Longer Works For BioWare
One of the most controversial individuals who worked at BioWare on Mass Effect: Andromeda was Manveer Heir, a game designer on the project. He had mentioned recently on his Twitter profile that Mass Effect: Andromeda was one of his past projects, but now we have confirmation that Manveer Heir is no longer working at BioWare.
BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn responded to a comment on Twitter about Heirs employment at BioWare, stating the following

If you check Manveer Heirs Twitter profile you can see that he does indeed mention that he previously worked on Mass Effect: Andromeda.
The significance of this news is that a lot of gamers had mentioned that they wouldnt be purchasing Mass Effect: Andromeda due to Manveers tweets, as he made it blatantly known that he did not like white people. His Twitter feed is filled with many crude, insensitive and racist remarks about Caucasians.
Heirs persistently racist tweets ended up spawning a petition, with some gamers asking for BioWare to fire him for racism.
Things continually escalated as the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda drew near, with the 10-hour free trial and the revelation of the games poor quality and the fact that fair-skinned whites couldnt made in the character creator also made people quite angry. The lead game designer, Ian Soon Frazier, commented on Twitter that they would investigate possibly patching in the ability to make fair-skinned whites and light-skinned Asians in Mass Effect: Andromeda, leading many people to believe that Manveer Heir may have had something to do with it.
At the same time, there were also reports that BioWare may have been filling their ranks with diversity hires, which is why the quality of the animation, ....

As usual with EA/ Bioware, there are many problems. Both are thick with sjw-types besides this pinhead.
In addition to the race issue, there is a sexism issue, with the female characters made noticeably less actractive than the real life people used as models. The male models looked exactly like their real counterparts. It’s said that the women were adjusted to appease feminists who complained about previous sexy characters.
The Bioware studio assigned to make this game aren’t really Bioware of old, they’re another studio renamed BioWare Montreal, who developed the multi-player portion of ME3. They’ve never produced a full game. Their team are mostly inexperienced, which may explain some of the quality problems.
The point is that while some aspects of this installment of ME look great; this is a trouble game, made by a troubled studio, under the thumb of a rotten producer in EA.
Should call it Mass Deffect from now on.
Andromeda, mass effect, racist = (super massive) black hole
A real shame. BioWare was once the studio I respected more than just about any other. It might not be “canon” Star Wars anymore but their Knights of the Old Republic remains not just THE best Star Wars game yet made, but one of the very best RPGs ever.
a black game programmer? That’s like finding the bigfoot. I’m going to take his photo and send it in to the Enquierer. I’m rich
He looks like Asian or from the Indian Subcontinent.
If that guy holding the “White Tears” cup at the top is Manveer Heir, then he is as Caucasian as those he hate-tweeted about. While the term “white” typically refers to Europeans, there are many other Caucasian ethnic groups throughout North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
He’s almost certainly a Muslim—meaning that the difference between him and the people he hates on is religious, not racial.
I say this because it is annoying and incorrect to conflate race with religion. There are only four races; there are hundreds (at least) of religions. And there is no connection between the two.
Anyway, I am glad the game company fired him. Employers have no obligation to keep racist and religionist employees on staff. I hope Manveer’s religionist hatred makes it hard for him to find any other position, as well.
I wouldn’t let this guy slip the label of racist on a technicality about racial categories. He apparently has a problem with people of a certain skin color. That’s good enough for the label to fit. No mercy for these people.
Absolutely. That game was simply superb!
The guy is not racist, he is religionist. I’ve met plenty of people who identify as “white” who are as dark, if not darker, than him. He wants to be racist, but his racism is directed at people of his own race.
What needs to happen is for every religionist like him to have their face rubbed in the fact that we are the same race.
He’s expressing his contempt in terms of skin color. That is racism. No need to downgrade the charge against him on a technicality. Why weakly rub his nose in a technicality when you can bludgeon him with a charge of racism.
in that case, I’ll call him Injun Joe, him heap unemployed chemo-sabe
The sad thing about this whole episode is that people who reject the game will be mostly the ones doing it because the animations are so horribly bad, not because of their political agenda put in the game. It is sickening how the left politicizes everything they touch. Sad too...I always liked the series. Alas.
Sadly, he actually wasn’t fired; he was released after he had finished his part on the game. He should be thrown south of the USA border and locked out for the heck of it though.
Is there anything SJWism can’t ruin? I guess not.
Gaydar going off big time!
