PRAIRIE COUNTY, AK Police in two states are trying to determine why two caregivers of an elderly man allegedly stuffed his body in a suitcase and then loaded him into a car and drove more than 1,000 miles from Syracuse, in upstate New York, to dump the corpse in an Arkansas rice field.

I don't get your comment. What does Idaho have to do with this article? Can you explain? Thanks.
Aunt Edna?
They probably heard the term ‘Arkancide’ before and read that it is never investigated or punished.
Lot of relatives in Prairie County, Arkansas! Hazen is the “big” town, right off of I-40. All Rice Farms and Duck Hunting. Very rural - still has dirt back roads - easy place to dump a body.
Plus down the road from Brinkley, Arkansas home of Jennifer Flowers!
That’s what I thought.
The article said the man died of natural causes, so its pretty clear they wanted to continue to receive his Soc. Sec. other benefits, and have access to his bank accounts, etc... as if he were still alive.
So go as far away as they can imagine to dump the body. For these two geniuses, it was Arkansas
“Police said that the man was not dismembered since it was a big suitcase and the victim was around 4 feet 11 inches tall, he fit.”
They wanted to avoid the excess baggage fees.
LOL
The article makes it clear that it was Arkansas. The AK abbreviation was a typo.
If the article was reported out of NY, they probably don’t know the difference. They see the country as either NY or that large mass of not NY.
No doubt they figured if they dumped the body somewhere in flyover country the hayseeds would never be able to trace the body back to someone who lived in NY.
“Why Did These People Drive 1,000 Miles With A Body Stuffed In A Suitcase?”
Because they were triple dog dared?

Now that's just being plain lazy....
Why?
I dunno, was the trunk full of dead hookers?
Yeah, this is one of those cases where all you have to do is just glance in their general direction and it’s plain to see they’re a few fries short of a Happy Meal. The elevator don’t go all the way to the top. They ain’t playing with a full deck. There’s some bats in the belfry. The lights are on, but nobody’s home.
Wasn’t this the plot to “Bad Grandpa”?
Because they are subhuman savages and need to be put down.
Oh, wait. That was from a movie.
What else were they suppose to put the body in?
