Monday marks the end of US President Donald Trump's first month in office. US mainstream media spared no efforts in satirizing and criticizing him. The latest Gallup poll released Saturday local time shows that Trump only had a 40 percent approval rating, 21 percentage points below the average rating for presidents in their first month in office. Trump said that "any negative poll is fake news," but analysts believe he does care about the results.
Trump's first month in the Oval Office can only be described as bumpy. He is now losing his offensive momentum and is entering the stalemate stage. His Muslim ban was suspended by a federal judge, his national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was forced to resign, and US mainstream media harshly criticized him. Although traditional media is in decline, when the New York Times, CNN and others want to teach Trump a lesson, they show no mercy.
The number of the people who predict that Trump won't last the full four years is increasing. However, Trump may not be that fragile. Unlike other US presidents, who might quickly fall apart in the face of surging negative public opinion, Trump confronted such a predicament during his presidential campaign and won despite tremendous criticism. Therefore, his tenacity is unique, and he seems to have a knack for turning adversity into positive results.

He has hit the ceiling. /s
Any one can make a poll-— Mine says that Hillary is More popular than Trump—she gets 98% as Perfect person to be President, Trump 2%. He is more unpopular than Hitler, Benedict Arnold, Charles Mason and David Duke. No one wants to work for him. He has to cook all his own meals—the black staff at the White House has quit—because of his virulent racism and hate mongering. The word in Washington is he will be impeached by next june—his Crime against the state? He’s Trump! Need there be another reason?
This is the media doing their wishful thinking out loud. They know nothing about the man’s work ethic if they think he runs out of steam this easily.
Just continue to mischaracterize and underestimate, you losers, just like you did on election night. Trump and his merry band of deplorables will be here to prove you wrong, over and over again.
There’s just too much fake news out there these days. You just can’t believe anything you see in the “media” anymore.
I came here to sarcastically post that Trump is finished(!), but I see that I’m late to the party. The line looks quite lengthy. :)
He just got his cabinet people in place. Now they wade through their various departments and agencies getting to know people and making a plan.
Senate has to do their thing with the SCOTUS.
A round of departmental firings and budget plans will be hitting soon. That will keep the news people up at night.
There will be ten new things for the news folks to yack about in the next 72 hours.
Wishful thinking on the part of the Chicoms.
More likely that he’s moved to governing.
Ok, so we’re back to the “he’ll drop out any day now” mem.
Even the Chicoms should view this tripe as unviable at this point.
Agreed but some here are obsessed like little girls with posting every negative media article about Trump.
What are we expected to do, cry like bitches?
We know what’s going on.
So many positive things Trump has done and is doing, so many important things to be done and be discussed.
Instead, FR is turning into the place to go for tabloid hit pieces on Trump. WTF.
Fake Poll!

You got it. They have to convince themselves that all the effort they've put out and all the money they've spent on paid protesters has had an impact.
BS.
He just needs the twin pronged attacks to keep going.
- keep cleaning the swamp, fighting the fight (and making the correct enemies - amazing how they flush out)
- keep explaining the truth and what he’s accomplishing for them, directly to the American people
AND WE ARE GOLDEN.
Zero would have been on the golf course by now
So since Americans aren’t being swayed by fake news about President Trump, the new plan is to persuade the Chinese.
Why compromise with McCain?
Sessions is in office.
