Supergirl has been taken over by liberals
It wasn’t in Breaking News when I replied. No idea.
“I stopped doing the same thing a couple of months ago for the same reason. The episodes are hijacked by left wing nonsense, which really have nothing to do with the show itself and are literally forced into the storyline and are very out of place. Its a shame - it was a good show until they decided to ruin it like that.”
Absolutely right! Season 1 was great and Melissa Benoist was (AND is) terrific in the role but it was like there was this ultra left wing overlay that infected season 2. Completely forced and out of the blue and SUCH A TURN OFF! Why do they insist on doing this? They lost a fan!
My favorite series is the Blacklist...On fb I find out Megan Boone is a hillary supporter and was at that filthy womens march. On her page today she is getting up another march against Trumps pick of Sessions!! Why cant these actors just do their jobs and keep their mouths shut?
I saw two promos with the President Elect being assasinated...
Designated Survivor and Scandal.
Coincidence? I think not.
This is in breaking news! Haha!
Yeah, part of the issue for conservatives is that we are fighting the culture because they have the media and entertainment. While conservatives do have and continue to expand conservative media, they are in complete control of entertainment. We need to counter that by putting out some movies, shows, and music. This would have to be well financed of course and would require a lot of work (so much so that the chances of this happening seem nearly nil to me). However, I can imagine there are plenty of conservatives out there who can’t fit in the Hollywood scene who would be interested.
And I am sure “Madam Secretary” just happened along at the time it did.
I mean it doesn’t even flow correctly as part of the storyline. It is just forced in.
In the past, actors weren't as "in your face" with their espousal of 'rats and left-wing causes. Guys like Gregory Peck and James Garner were longtime 'rat supporters, but they did not slander the rest of us as bigots, racists and homophobes the way today's left does. And their movies and TV shows were not political.
“Why is this in breaking news?’’
This was supposed to go to Castgar who started the thread.
This thread should be in entertainment. . Not even on the right side bar and especially not breaking.
So would a gay Supergirl being “faster than a speeding bullet” end up having her tongue get “rug burn”?
I didn’t mean it in any way to be in Breaking news. If I screwed up I’m sorry.
I mean you think about it?
Do you think it’s breaking FR World or national news? You checked it off to go in breaking.
“You checked it off to go in breaking.”
No I really didn’t. I didn’t try to put it in Breaking News. If I did check the wrong box then I am sorry but I didn’t try to do that.
Maybe it was moved but it is in chat.
“From what I can see it is not in breaking news but in chat.
Maybe it was moved but it is in chat. “
That’s what I tried to do. It wasn’t breaking news. I’m getting a bit peeved about this. I can only apologize so many time. And why would any body give a $hit?
“...it was getting more girls club to the point of being annoying...”
I have some young children in the house and to a great extent they watch the same shows I watched. Of course they’re watching CDs and not broadcast TV. My ten and twelve year olds love Dobie Gillis, Leave it to Beaver, the Munsters, Dennis the Menace, and Mr. Ed. Once in a while I see a liberal theme among those old shows but there were some conservative themes too.
Makes me glad I never read them. When we were kids we read DC Comics, but that was in the 50’s. I remember we read Superman, Batman, and Blackhawk. I also read a lot of the Harvey Comics, and also liked Little Lulu.
The responses to President Trumps executive order Friday instituting the anti-Muslim policy partially blocked by a federal judge late Saturday came from execs including Netflixs Reed Hastings and Twitters Jack Dorsey. Showbiz figures also expressed anger and disgust about Trumps action, which had been a key issue in his campaign.
In a public Facebook post Saturday, Netflix CEO Hastings wrote: Trumps actions are hurting Netflix employees around the world, and are so un-American it pains us all.
Hastings continued, Worse, these actions will make America less safe (through hatred and loss of allies) rather than more safe It is time to link arms together to protect American values of freedom and opportunity.

What's really unAmerican is making billions off building stock issuing companies, sourcing out the work to the cheapest labor markets in the world, ignoring your stockholders exposure, minimizing any security U.S. workers might enjoy while undermining the will of the people to make America Great Again.
