Hey all I've long been reading FR since living out west in Utah. I've moved to thankfully another Red state GA and have decided to join in the conversation. I've found FR to be an invaluable resource for my values and look forward to providing my input.

Welcome to FR. As you begin posting, here are a few good things to remember:

1. It’s “I couldn’t care less” not “I could care less.”

2. The opposite of win is “lose” not “loose,” and the opposite of winner is “loser” not “looser.”

3. There is no apostrophe before the “s” when using a plural (The Clintons, not the Clinton’s)

4. “Infer” and “imply” are basically opposites of one another.

5. “Affect” and “effect” do not mean the same thing.

6. Laz will hit anything.

What we could really use around here is a 'Braking News' category.

There's always the Breaking kind, and then there is (of course) always Old News kicking around too, along with more than I'd like to see of the Fake News (and Fake News about Fake News). We all know plenty about those, can recognize 'em when we see 'em (most of us? some of us--always).
