Just in case you had forgotten how obscenely biased and liberal ESPN is, well, they’ve reminded us yet again.
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the sports network that had vowed to become less overtly-liberal will feature a tribute to the “sports fandom,” of President Barack Obama. According to a press release, the program will feature, “segments saluting the “First Fan” only a few days before he leaves the presidency, ending his historic eight years as the first African-American to hold the office. Michael Eaves will anchor the program.”

How do they manage to survive as one more arm of the Soros Group, NAACP, Black Panthers, Communists USA, ACORN, etc., etc.?
I’d like to hear their spin on what he has to do with sports. About the closest he gets is teams not wanting him to pick them to win in his basketball brackets. Not exactly a plus.

You know what, this MLK holliday reminds me of the Imperial Cult in ancient Rome. MLK is essentially being worshiped as a God. Creepy. Who else get’s this treatment? Washington and Lincoln don’t on their birthdays.

To me, this “holiday” is as farcical and irrelevant as Kwanzaa. It’s purely a an exercise in PC and delays USPS delivery of mail.

I don’t like it, either. Washington and Lincoln are far more worthy, and I can tell you neither one of them would approve of such sort of cult worship. Add to that, focusing exclusively on MLK for a singular holiday diminishes countless individuals who participated in (Black) Civil Rights going back to the 19th century, many of whom gave their lives. I think the name of the holiday should simply be called “Civil Rights Day.”
