As a developer and a reality TV star, Donald Trump seemed to believe there was no such thing as too much publicity.
Already, as president elect, hes finding thats not so.
Trump is still a week away from being sworn in as president, but judging by the latest polls, hes already started to wear out his welcome...
Only 44% of Americans approve of Trumps transition so far, according to the latest Gallup figures, released Friday. A poll earlier in the week by Quinnipiac University pegged the number even lower only 37% approved of Trump in that survey.
In either case, Trump stands far below the norm for a new president. In Gallups surveys, for example, 68% of Americans approved of Bill Clintons transition just before he took office, 61% approved of George W. Bush and a whopping 83% approved of Barack Obama.
Polls dont say precisely why Trumps standing has dropped, but theres strong reason to think over-exposure plays a part...

And follow the bread crumbs to get to the methodology for the Quinnipiac poll...WTH?!
This is cali rant.
Ultimate uniparty propaganda.
...but judging by the latest polls...
I think it is so cute when liberals continue to cite polls.
Best. Election. EVER!
Don’t worry. He’ll be gone in a week.
Why would anyone ever believe these MSM polls anyway? The national polling organizations were thoroughly discredit about a couple of months ago.
So his approval rating in Cali is UP to 44%? That’s GREAT news!! The rest of the nation approves him by at least 48.?% We VOTED for him lol!
It’s good to see Cali trying to catch up to the ‘normal’ world lol!
:-)
He began with them giving him a welcome? Who was giving a welcome that isnt now? Trump trying to keep a welcome as long a possible the constitutional requirement of the President?
It is the scum represented by people like you who are the "guests" that have worn out their welcome. *WE* and Donald Trump, *LIVE HERE.* It is *you* who are the unwelcome interlopers in our society and our system of governance. It is *YOU* who have worn out your welcome, and it is you and your pack of American hating nasties that need to have been shown the door a long time ago!
First of all - same polls conducted by same people who got the election results wrong.
Second of all - incoming Presidents do not have to deal with the crap that Donald Trump has had to deal with. He has dealt with protests, recounts, popular vote whining, Russia, Comey, fake news, racism accusations, premature impeachment talks, etc. His transition as far as picking people has been smooth and transparent, yet people (per polls) have a problem with the transition, in my opinion, because media reports are so critical. Obama had a media swooning honeymoon.
We hope Americans are smart enough to see through the B.S., and he did get elected, but the media will be terrible. Granted, the media is not as powerful as it was under Bush and Bush didn’t fight back, but the media played a part in destroying Bush. That is their goal with Trump - ruin him so badly it causes even his supporters to turn on him.
More fake news from a fake news site.
Mr. Lauter is obviously a wanker.
Enjoying the leftist butt hurt is WINNING.
You lost. Shut up and deal with it lying losers.
Seeing how dishonest and openly hostile the media is there is no doubt they are skewing the polls to get these results. No, 2 yrs time we will see when Republicans get a supermajority. The media can f off with their wrong polls.
I know this comment is superfluous and unnecessary but I have to say so anyway. The author is an idiot!!!
Well, well, little Davie clearly thinks that all the Fake Polls and Fake News that he and his Presstitute Comrades tried to pass off on the American public weren't noticed!
Oh yea Davie, everyone is gonna really buy in to your latest Anti-Trump flop-sweat "polls" and "reporting".
Reagan hadn’t been elected and the Los Angeles Times had worn out it’s welcome with U.S. Citizens.
SIX AND ONE-HALF DAYS ... TICK TOCK.
Polls schmolls. They haven’t been accurate lately. I read a dumb piece by one of your liberal comrades yesterday that claimed Quinnipiac was “a leading conservative pollster.” LOL. Too many snowflakes doing too many recreational drugs.
