DUNDALK, Maryland (AP/Meredith) - A man who got upset when his wife took a bite of his grilled cheese sandwich opened fire inside his home and sparked an hours-long standoff with police, according to authorities.
Baltimore County police worked to diffuse the bizarre situation Sunday night.
During the standoff, a woman and three teenagers ran outside the home and told officers a man started shooting through the basement floor after he found out someone ate a piece of his sandwich, WBAL-TV

Reminds me of the joke about the police officer who calls his supervisor and tells him that an old woman shot her husband for walking on her just mopped floors. The supervisor asks, “Well, did you arrest her?” The cop replies, “No, sir. The floors are still wet”.
I withhold judgment until I know who made it. If it was him, then he has a good defense. /s
