The tortured path that began with a left turn onto Dealey Plaza on Nov. 22, 1963, will find its unlikely end point this October in College Park, Md. At a National Archives annex, the last remaining documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy are being readied for release.
Under the terms of the 1992 JFK Records Act–a result of Oliver Stone’s 1991 movie JFK, which revived fascination with the idea of a cover-up–the government was given 25 years to make public all related files. The time is up on Oct. 26, 2017. About 3,000 never-before-seen documents, along with 34,000 previously redacted files, are scheduled for release.
The files–many of which trace back to the House Select Committee on Assassinations from the 1970s–promise to be less about second shooters and grassy knolls and more about what the government, particularly the CIA, might have known about assassin Lee Harvey Oswald before Kennedy’s death. Already, the law has helped fill out one of the most significant periods of the 20th century, revealing information on military plots to invade Cuba; Kennedy’s plans to execute a withdrawal of U.S. forces from Vietnam; and the formation of the Warren Commission, which investigated the assassination.
According to the National Archives, the final batch includes information on the CIA’s station in Mexico City, where Oswald showed up weeks before JFK’s death; 400 pages on E. Howard Hunt, the Watergate burglary conspirator who said on his deathbed that he had prior knowledge of the assassination; and testimony from the CIA’s James Angleton, who oversaw intelligence on Oswald. The documents could also provide information on a CIA officer named George Joannides, who directed financial dealings with an anti-Castro group whose members had a public fight with Oswald on the streets of New Orleans in the summer of 1963.

I don’t expect much considering the known fact that Sandy Burglar took out stuff concerning Clinton and Osama w/o difficulty. Obviously, no real security in the archives, other than for grunts like us.

There have been many allegations that Zapata offshore was a CIA front corporation and GHWB was active with the CIA at the time. It does seem strange that a man with no previous link to the CIA would seem like a logical choice to become the director of the CIA.
Hoover knew of the hit before it occurred. confidential informant told an FBI undercover two weeks before there would be three shooters firing in a triangulation. three assassins traveled Wednesday from Miami to Dallas. Only thing that could hve stopped t was the hard top on the limo. weather cleared and JFK ordered the top removed.

The Chicago hit was foiled when a CIA informant named “Oswald” contacted the only black secret service agent, Abraham Bolden, and provided him a heads up with specific details to get the agency to take action.

Oliver Stone’s movie JFK was mostly silliness, but it did include several archived bits of news footage from Nov. 22.
One grainy news clip showed the the three guys who later became referenced as “the three hoboes” or tramps who were briefly detained on the railway trestle above the Stennis Freeway on-ramp, immediately over the motorcade route.
I saw the movie in the theatre when first released in early 90s.
When the three hoboes flashed onscreen, my companion and I both jumped.
One of the hoboes looked remarkably like a young George H.W. Bush.

Bolden was shortly thereafter sent to prison for bribery based in part on the testimony of a mobster named Joseph Spagnoli who later confessed to providing false testimony at the behest of the government. Nothing to see there.
That’s what keeps it interesting. It’s like a puzzle with missing pieces. You never see the entire picture but you can still start to make out what it is as the pieces you do have start falling into place. They can never destroy all the pieces and more of them will be found as time goes on. To my eyes, it’s pretty clear what the picture isn’t-a lone gunman acting on his own.
What I have to say about JFK, or any Kennedy for that matter, would get me banned.

CIA had Front Organizations in oil - It’s alleged that GHWB was a CIA agent involved with Zapata Oil and involved with the attempts to get rid of Castro.
I wasn’t alive when Kennedy was shot. I therefore can’t speak from personal memory. But, it seems that he wanted us out of Viet Nam and that would have been for the best IMO. It also seems he wanted the federal reserve out of our money. that too would have been good. IMO.
It’s also clear that when considering motive, means, and opportunity that there were a huge number of groups and individuals that might have been involved. The KKK, 3 different mob bosses, including Sam Giancano, CIA, Politicians, FBI.
Kennedy had fired CIA director, fired General Lemnitzer, was going to pull out of Vietnam, J. Edgar Hoover was going to have to retire, plan to move away from fiat currency/Federal Reserve, had an affair with an Intelligence Agent’s wife, and Bobby was publically going after the mob, and neither Kennedy was popular with LBJ.
There were tapes from a meeting in Miami where the men said Kennedy was going to be killed, and probably his public appearances should have been cancelled, but were not.
Since Oswald was killed, there was no trial, and hence it is hard to know just which of the suspected groups were involved.
