A greedy dog ruined her family's Christmas after scoffing the turkey intended for their festive dinner. According to the pet's owner David Barrett, from Prestwick, South Ayrshire, Bubba, 5, a Chi Apso, (a cross between dog breeds Chihuahua and a Lhasa Apso), snuck into the kitchen on Christmas Eve and stole the food, which had been left on the side. The family had no idea what their hungry pooch had done until she suddenly collapsed bloated on the floor and unable to move.

If they leave the food out all night, maybe it’s a lucky thing that the dog ate it and not the family.
I left a tri tip roast out on our counter to thaw one time. We left for awhile and came back and our boxer had eaten the whole thing.
Another time I had made fudge and left it on the island in the kitchen. Same boxer ate every bite. About 2 lbs. She spent the night at the vet’s. lol
The vet bill taught me to never leave anything where our dog could get it.
Tur-Chi-Apso?
Would one use a stuffing/dressing more geared toward turkey, or dog?
Conundrum...

Buddafingah!
Hey im watching u..LOL
From the initial description “greedy pet” I thought maybe they had a pet polar bear or something and it ate a couple of family members.
Various dogs owned by my family have eaten so much it became a medical emergency for at least one, who had to have his stomach pumped, IIRC. A small mini poodle ate a rump roast IIRC. Funny now, but the dog was not loving it after becoming a bloated mess.
Boughs of horry:)
LOL! What I immediately thought of. Now they have to go eat at the chinese restaurant. “Tis the season to be jorry, far rah rah rah rah...”

LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA
My Black Lab ate the entire huge cookie sheet of several dozen fresh home made perogies when we went to the afternoon Christmas Eve service.
He was so bloated that he could hardly move.
“So cook the dog.” Great idea, it would be like a twice baked potato, yum yum.
Lol
Yes!!!
Bubba is not a girls name!
Damn! That’s one fat dog. I like him. :D
Think about it from the dogs point of view. This was likely the best he had ever eaten and would probably never eat this well again sooooo might as well go for it. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission sometimes.
“I can’t believe I ate the whole thing.....but I’m glad I did.”
I’m surprised the dog didn’t keel over dead!.................
