I say we all wear gloves more. Less disease.
She is absolutely stunning, and I wish I were just half as pretty! Liberals are just jealous because they have a bunch of hairy-arm-pitted lesbians and transgenders in their club.
I still have all my gloves, wrapped in tissue paper; including long black leather ones and opera-length. Every time I think of tossing them, I wonder if maybe they’ll come back in style.
But nothing ever really comes back. It’s always changed in some way.
That’s actually a good choice, safety-wise.
*snicker*
Hope you and your family are okay. Are you getting ready for the Advent Kitty? If your house is all clean (don’t forget the fan blades) on the first Sunday of Advent, the Advent Kitty will bring you wine and pretzels. If she finds dust, she will leave you a hairball.
My first big boy job was in Manhattan. Dress for success was spelled out to me very early the first week : Navy or gray suit. Pinstripes OK. No brown or green suits (makes you look weak and/or like a forest ranger). White shirt or blue. No pattern.
When I moved back west 10 years later and wore a blue blazer/gray slacks to work, I felt naked.
And I don't care what others do ( okay, I care VERY much, they should follow MY lead ! ), I still dress properly for the occasion.
When I first became friendly with a Korean family and attended Korean events, I noticed that all the men always wore black suits with white shirts. It was very attractive; not sure if they still do.
There has only been one woman in this world that I’ve ever been jealous of - and it was Mrs. Ronaldus Magnus! Wow! To be LOVED like that by a man of such character?!? Speechless.
(Beau is doing an excellent job, but still. I love The Reagan Love Story.)
I think that’s one of the reasons the ‘fascinator’ was invented ;-)
Koreans in our diocese appear with the men in suits and the women in Korean gowns, usually in the same color. I think traditional Korean clothes are some of the most beautiful in the world.
No, not at all, because she is wearing a CAPE...not a coat!
I have never EVER been a real ‘Girly-Girl,’ but I AM looking forward to watching Mrs. Trump. So pretty! So classy!
I can’t wait to see what she does with The White House, and I’m looking forward to NEXT Christmas - I hope she brings her own ‘traditional’ native country touches to the celebration. :)
Ow, she’s a brick house
She’s mighty-mighty, just lettin’ it all hang out
Hanbok. I was given a pink and silver one by my friends, and used to wear it to visit the elderly relatives on New Year’s day.
Then my Godchild grew up and inherited it. Looked a lot better on her ;-) Very beautiful, but the way they go together and fit is very uncomfortable for a Western woman, at least it was for me.
