Okay the election is over and all is well but now I have to ask the question: Could any other Republican besides Donald Trump have beaten Hillary in the election?
Personally I don't think so. Jake Novak of CNBC wrote that Trump was essentially a third party candidate who was endorsed by the Republicans. Many Democrat voters in the Rust Belt which was key to victory voted not for a Republican but for Trump who himself repudiated by many/most of the Republican establishment.
When I look back at the other Republican candidates, I see no one who would have been capable of beating Hillary. Jeb Bush? Puh-lease. He would have spent a lot of his general election campaign apologizing plus he was a complete throwback to the past.
Ted Cruz. Okay I initially liked Cruz but I have come to see faults in him as a candidate. For one thing he had sort of a preachy tone which doesn't translate well to the campaign trail.
Chris Christie? Good on the campaign trail but Bridgegate would have doomed him.
John Kasich? A disgusting human being as we found out.
Marco Rubio? It would have been like a boy campaigning.
All I can say is we are extremely lucky that Donald Trump came on the scene. Only he was able to save us from a Hillary Regime which would have brought a liberal Supreme Court, eroded the Second Amendment, brought hordes of illegals and terrorist "refugees" across America, and, I believe, the basic end of our civilization.
Instead we dodged that horrible Hillary Bullet and the Democrats are now in total disarray. America has been saved and we have one man to thank for that...Donald Trump.
Trump did more than that: he won over Democrats while GOP Inc can’t even win over enough independents.
Cubanadians are not eligible.
Probably most of them would have beaten Hillary.
But Trump is a champ at going over the Media’s heads. This will continue to serve him well.
Carson has the personality of a bottle of sleeping pills and should NEVER have even tried politics.
Little Marco never wanted to "CHANGE" anything, except to make Amnesty a thing for anyone and everyone here ILLEGALLY!
Cruz had straight off the bat ruled out criticizing Bill Clinton, and had been bashing Trump for “inspiring violence” in Chicago and elsewhere. He was, little by little ,transforming into a SJW candidate the longer the campaign went on, like Egg McMuffin.
I think Trump could have won in 2012.
Trump was the only one who was all-in against the Establishment.
So even if you believe Cruz would have won against Hillary, with Cruz the best we could have got would be a half-GOPe/half-conservative candidate.
Voters only turned out in YUGE number because Trump was radically different than every politician out there. That, my FRiends, was the margin of victory!
A low-effort Tranny with a missing leg could have beaten Cruz.

Rubio has NEVER "looked good on T.V." and I and many others won't ever vote for him; let alone donate time, money and effort. Little Marco is a Bushite and his mentor was that POS Charlies Christ. His family has all kinds of criminals in it, we know about the stupid "foam party", but there is fare more dirt on him, than any of us can even guess at.
