Now it's Hillary Clinton's campaign that is hitting the FBI after the bureau announced Friday that it is reopening an investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails after developments in an unrelated case.
The Clinton campaign fired off a stern statement Friday 'in response to the letter sent by FBI Director James Comey to eight Republican committee chairman in Congress' suggesting at the outside that some sort of partisan action was at play.
'It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election,' Clinton campaign chair John Podesta wrote in the official statement, the campaign's first comment since stunning word broke that Clinton's emails were back under the microscope at FBI headquarters.
It was the campaign's first official comment. The candidate did not respond to shouted questions as she got off her campaign plane at a campaign stop in Iowa.

My opinion: The FBI is trying to stall Assange.
Apparently the plane sat on the tarmac for 25 minutes before anyone walked off. There was no wifi on plane so they knew NOTHING til they landed.
” suggesting at the outside that some sort of partisan action was at play.”
Of course there is partisan action at play, the Democrat coverup that has been ongoing since Benghazi and before...
how much more partisan than obstruction of justice and destruction of evidence for political cover can anyone get?
My read is, that Comey blew, first go ‘round.
The FBI investigators are and have been livid, champing at the bit to spill their guts.
Perhaps a independent posecutor needs to be appointed to distance Comey from the mess he made.
Enjoying the *long faces* on the LSN shows. HAHAHA!
Draining the swamp. A beautiful thing.
Best election ever!!!
I’ve read some posts here arguing that this may be some kind of devilishly subtle plan by the Dems.
Until I know more, I’m just going to apply common sense:
Comey is scared, facing pressure from senior agents, and scrambling to cover his backside.
That’s the first thing you learn in a bureaucracy — cover your backside.
deplorable stink in the air
I like the way you think, because I agree with you. Here’s my way of explaining it:
Imagine you are James Comey.
Imagine that you took your Deputy Director’s word that Hillary Clinton’s emails were not a problem.
Imagine that you announced his findings on national television as if they were your very own.
Imagine that you have been called “dirty” for three months after the announcement.
Imagine your surprise when you see the diagram showing three degrees of separation between the *person* Hillary Clinton and a $467K payoff to your Deputy Director.
Imagine how you might feel a little betrayed and sold out.
Imagine talking to on-the-ground agents who have other pertinent information about Hillary’s malfeasance with emails and security.
Might you consider re-opening the investigation of Hillary’s emails in order to rehabilitate your tattered reputation?
Imagine — It’s easy if you try.
Imagine how you might feel if you learned about some internal polling that showed the guy who promised to get to the bottom of the whole Hillary Clinton scandal, and all the related corruption, was about to become the next President of the United States.
Oh noes.....the clintons are upset
For the record, Wolf Blitzed mentioned that the head Democraticks also got Comey’s letter. I wonder what they did with them...
No the FBI director did not close the case. He in fact said specifically that it was not closed
I stand corrected.
Happens often :)
Thanks.

“obama have any role in this ya think?”
I think if we could peel the curtain aside we would see a steamy, incestuous relationship between Comey, Comey’s brother, Loretta Lynch, Obama and the Clinton Foundation. I am sure there are other players as well. This is a political Gordian knot. Comey is playing an end game where he is desperately maneuvering and hoping to still have a chair when the music stops. A lot of people will be collateral damage if Clinton loses the election and even, possibly, if she wins.
One thing I am certain of, each player is playing for themselves. It is a cutthroat game with high stakes. If Trump wins it is likely he will overturn the table and go after everybody. It will be politically bloody no matter who wins. The most amazing thing is, Hillary, who brought all of this on with her penchant for secrecy and her distain for the law, will likely be the one least damaged.
Happens to me too
John Podesta of all people is trying to be the point man for Hillary at this moment when all of the wikileaks implicates HIM? Yeah, he’s a real credible person at this point (I need no sarc tag for this)
Yeah but who could have predicted Carlos Danger’s sex phone would be the final nail in Hillary’s coffin?
