OK, so Trump showed machismo when in a group of males by making "inappropriate" references to females. Machismo is the sense of being 'manly' and self-reliant, the concept associated with "a strong sense of masculine pride with the supreme valuation of characteristics culturally associated with the masculine and by implication some say, a denigration of characteristics associated with the feminine. It is associated with a man’s responsibility to provide for, protect, and defend his family. Old school? Maybe, but get a group of males together with testosterone flowing and machismo shows up. I wouldn't give a plugged nickle for any male without that characteristic. Liberals want to define the behavior as abhorrent. I could name a host of liberal behaviors I could define that way. Given a choice between them, macho is not so bad.
This only strengthens my support of soon-to-be-President Donald Trump. He speaks his mind clearly and without equivocation. In this case, they are words that most men use frequently. In spite of (or maybe because of), DJT remains Presidential.
All anyone else needs to say...:He was a Democrat back then".
I like to think I am a pretty masculine guy, with masculine buddies. I can bench over 300lbs., restore muscle cars and classic tractors, can do most any type of construction, and can shoot fairly well.
I have never, as a married man, discussed hitting on a married woman with a total stranger, while bragging about sexual assault, nor have any one of my “macho” guy friends. This isn’t guy talk. This is a caricature of masculinity... a rich boy who has probably never thrown a punch or swung a hammer in his life... demeaning someone’s daughter or mother. The “macho” thing to do to a guy who gropes women is to knock him out.
But that’s just one man’s opinion. Flame away.

So you never once used the terms: “He is a pussy” or “Bitch slap” maybe “she acts like a whore” or “that cunt cut me off”? I’ve been married for 49 years with 20 years in the military and I’ve seen and heard it all.
None of the qualities you list are the true measure of a man.
The true measure, the most difficult, is honesty.
It’s opposite, that which emasculates, is dishonesty. Like when Trump’s comments are mischaracterized for political purposes.
Two young women and a couple of nearby young men were murdered because the women had the initial, ‘M.’ Monica is alive because of the blue dress and because she went so public.
Aren’t you a brave internet poster? If you were man enough to say such a thing to me in person (and I am not saying you aren’t) you wouldn’t think that for long. I might lose... nobody can beat everybody... but you would know I had been there.
