There are over 38,000 Mexican restaurants across the United States. Mexican food is the most popular international cuisine in the U.S., representing 42% of all ethnic food sales. That would be almost anything you find in a family-run restaurant in just about any part of Italy that I have visited.
“Plus the usual assorted rodent and cockroach parts that add the authentic zing of Old Mexico!”
El Protein!
I will. Thanks.
I’ll try that if I see it.
Yes, we live in a small town, miles from anywhere. Do a lot of shopping on Amazon. I’m not so sure about the better prices, though.
I remember that the Owl Cafe in Albuquerque had a great green chili cheeseburger. Also, green chilies on a breakfast omelet was good, too.

I guess it depends on what you buy, but we do pretty well. And the selection available - more often you get what you want, instead of settling for what your store may have.
You also have to factor the time it takes to ‘go out shopping’ - which, except for groceries, I just don’t enjoy anymore. Lately we’ve even had groceries delivered; it’s nice to sometimes sleep late on Saturday, read a book all day, and just go nowhere ;-)

Pico, My version.
