Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X is the 33rd season of Survivor (for those unfamiliar with the show, there are two seasons each year). It begins Wednesday, September 21, 2016 on CBS at 8/7c with a special 90 minute episode.
The players range in age from 18 to 52. There are seven from California, including six from Southern California, two each from Florida and New York, and one each from Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
Given that the youngest Gen-Xer is 33 and the oldest Millennial is 31, it's possible that the theme might have been created after the cast was assembled. This has been suspected of some past Survivor seasons.
Vanua Tribe (Millennials - orange buffs): Adam, Figgy, Hannah, Jay, Mari, Michaela, Michelle, Taylor, WIlliam, Zeke

And no Brett???
Hmmm...
There are seven people missing from that photo.
Hannah was pretty spirited at the Final TC and stuck up for herself whenever Adam tried to throw her under the bus.
Ken - “I’m not going to win so should I make sure the guy who’s stood beside me all game wins or the other guy? OK, I’ll betray my guy and let the other win.”
I think Ken thought he still had a chance to win. Prior to the TC, only Jay knew about Adam’s mother.
Runners up: Hannah (0 votes), Ken (0 votes)
Voted out last night: Jay (1), Bret (2), David (3)
Immunity challenge winners: David (this also included a reward challenge - see "Reward Advantage" below) (1), Ken (2), Ken (3)
Finalists: Adam, Hannah, Ken
Jury: Bret, David, Jay, Chris, Jessica, Michelle, Sunday, Taylor, Will, Zeke
Eliminated: CeCe, Figgy, Lucy, Mari, Michaela, Paul, Rachel
Immunity Idol status: Adam found an idol and played it at the second Tribal Council.
Legacy Advantage: Ken. If he was still in the game on day 36, he would receive an advantage. If he left the game before day 36, he had to bequeath the advantage to another player. On day 36, Ken received his advantage. It gave him immunity, and he played it at the first Tribal Council.
Reward Advantage: Jay. He was allowed to steal a reward after someone else had won it. The first immunity challenge included a reward. Jay stole the reward from David. Jay then shared the reward with Adam and David.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
Man, it will be a long wait until March.
Well, I’ve been on this ping list almost forever but please remove me. Hubby and I agree with bgill, our day of watching Survivor are over. Sick of the deluge of gay cr@p.
It’s sad. Used to drop everything for the show.
The tv was off last night.
I’m sorry to see you go, MomwithHope. :(
I hunk the crying jags got a bit much. Not unhappy that’s over. I don’t mean to be insensitive, losing your mother is hard at any age. But when every time you are on camera you are bawling your eyes out...maybe you need to be elaewhere. In the end that’s all it was about. Until that it was a good season - even if the personal growth thing got overplayed. I hope next time they just play without all the subplots.
I know the gay stuff bothers people. I’ve made my peace with it, even though it’s not interesting to me, even in subplots. It’s CBS -American MSM is going to be gay centric, so if I like the game I overlook it, a cost of doing business with these networks. Shrug.
Ping to post #172.

Oh, wow. Was he set up or was it real?
Probably not set up.
I just heard the very sad news about the sudden loss of Dan Kay of Survivor: Gabon. The Survivor family sends our love to Dan’s family.
