I used to like Dolly but I grew tired of the “image” she gave herself.........that grotesque plastic surgery and yes those boobs that are grotesque all by themselves but it has given her riches beyond compare but as I get older and probably more crotchety people like Dolly bore me. Dolly has brains, talent, and a larger-than-life persona. I’d have figured her for a strong Trump backer.
Parton posted her commentary on her Facebook page.
“This morning while I was watching the news I saw many reports that I had endorsed Hillary Clinton. My comment about supporting a woman in the White House was taken out of context. I have not endorsed Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump,” she said.
Dolly is that rarity in today’s world of entertainment; she makes an effort to stay neutral and not offend anyone at this point in the election. She’s not like certain other performers such as Barry Manillow, who openly despises any conservative, because they probably don’t support his pet issue of Gay Marriage.
Dolly is extremely savvy as to what works with people and what does not work. She doesn’t need any enemies at this stage in her life. I don’t know a lot about country music, but I do know that Dolly is remarkably successful and influential when you think about it. Similar to another former star who is seldom thought of today; Debbie Reynolds.

I saw her picture on Face book earlier and I can guaran-damn-tee one thing, this AIN’T Dolly Parton.
I may be old and getting a little forgetful, I do remember what Dolly Parton looked like and this ain’t it.
I’ve been waiting for this announcement to make my decision about whom to vote for.

I'm not a scientist but have noticed time and again, women I know who use lots of bleach and silicone, rarely make good decisions and shouldn't handle sharp knives!
Yes, I saw that. It doesn’t change my point. If it had crossed my mind, I would have expected Dolly to be a Trump supporter, and it doesn’t appear she is.
I don't know for sure who Dolly supports, but it is clear that she is smart enough to stay out of it and endorse nobody. She seems to be one of the few entertainers who realizes she runs the risk of alienating much of her fan base. I would not be surprised to learn she supports Hillary, but that most of her fans probably support Trump. She is wise to stay out of it.
