Here's an interesting exchange between NBC News and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz that happened just now:
NBC: Donald Trump's remarks about Judge Curiel, are his concerns legitimate?
Cruz: Of course it's inappropriate to be attacking a federal judge's race or ethnicity. You're going to have ask Donald to explain the reason he says the things he does. I'm not going to try to do so.
NBC: Ben Sasse said that what Donald Trump said about the judge is pure definition of racism. Is Donald Trump a racist?
Cruz: As I said, it is obviously inappropriate to attack a judge's race or ethnicity. Beyond that, you're going to have to ask Donald.
NBC: (As Cruz walks away): Last question Senator, can you fathom though still at this point supporting Donald Trump in November?
(No response -- goes into office)

Globalist Traitor.
cruz is talking like a lawyer who is dependent on judges. He is very dependant. His past offices allow him to join a megafirm as a former senator, former soliciter general. This means he walks into a courtroom NEEDING a biased judge.
I actually agree with you. But, the reality is that it is not a red flag with just about everyone else outside the conservative blogosphere. You and I don't like it, but that's the way it is.
This is why your argument is so weak.
It's not an "argument". It's simply an observation of how the public perceives this issue. I'll offer the same challenge that I made to another poster: go stand on a street corner and ask 10 people above the dispute between Trump and the judge. I'd be very surprised if even one person knows anything beyond "Trump thinks the judge is biased because he is Mexican."
And if you are lucky enough to encounter someone that actually knows the truth, that person would have voted for Trump anyway.
No, he's not. Currently, Trump is close, but that's in a national poll that doesn't account for the electoral college.
Trump has to win in the swing states, and win big to overcome fraud and the Democrat's efforts to bus any warm body to the polls.
Cruz’ quote in the title is correct; Trump was wrong to inject the ethnicity of an American citizen in the debate. I hope he repents; I don’t want this nation to suffer. He was so close in the polls, and is throwing it away.
To be honest, I don't personally know whether the judge is prejudiced. But, I believe he has a conflict of interest.
How do we know that?
The judge is a member of an organization that advocates for Hispanics/Latinos, including illegal aliens. That organization is also affiliated with organizations that are actively taking positions against Trump.
“I wish Cruz and Rubio would go back to Canada and Cuba.”
Me too. And everyone who thought they were eligible for POTUS can go too.
Not when the judge is a member of an organization that calls itself "The Race."

Sonia “Wise Latina” Sotomayor ring any bells? Progressives “inject” race all the time. Sorry to say but like Ryan and Cruz you really are a surrender monkey on this issue.
The only one besides Jesus who's going to rule the world is… the Anti-Christ.
Perhaps if you insult my ethnic heritage or impugn my service it will prove your case, but I rather doubt it. Trump was wrong and I don’t want him to lose, not for his sake, but for ours. He is wrong to inject ethnicity, morally wrong and politically wrong.
Trump botched the wording. But we the people understand what is going on here. The judge is linked to radical organizations. Sotomayor is allowed to say latino heritage effects her legal outcomes. But Trump isn’t allowed to raise this issue. It can’t be a one way street. Stop the PC crap.
Of course, this rule applies only if yoàu’re white, against all mon-whites. Minorities may question each others ethnic motivations, of course.

Breaking news: Trump inartful with words. If you really preferred Trump to the Butcher of Benghazi you would not be joining in with Graham and Amnesty Ryan to stab him in the back when he is under carpet bomb attack.
Excellent point and true and right.
However, it is no accident that California, Mexico is the hot bed of leniency toward open border vandals, both in the court room and against the law, and serves as the ideal location for this trumped up case.
Now TRUMP is running for president and building a wall. It can not be helpful to have a La Raza associated judge presiding over your case, in La Raza territory, with Leftist loaded attorneys proscecuting the case against you.
Speak for yourself alone. Watch the polls and weep. I hope he can turn it around. I will continue to speak up when I deem him wrong.
The Canadian defending the dual citizen Judge. So funny.
He better turn around, wise up, and become artful with words. Don’t count on Sanders to run Independent; thirty something percent is not going to do the job. If he is not up to the job he should stand aside. Clinton should not become President.
The GOP is a pitiful joke
Kvetching all politically correct while Rome burns
What a loser Cruz turned out to be
Rosa Parks Ted!
There are very few black Mexicans
