More than a decade after he was first accused of sexual misconduct, Bill Cosby will go to trial.
Pennsylvania judge found enough evidence during a hearing Tuesday to proceed with a criminal trial. Cosby's next court date will be July 20; it's not clear when his trial will start.

In other news, former President Bill Clinton...
Never mind.
No Statute of Limitations?
Wow. A once great comedian that I used to idolize. Yet another bit of my childhood innocence gone forever.
Does Bill Clinton even notice?
“In other news, former President Bill Clinton...”
We can only hope!
But there may be justice yet for ol’ zippergate Billy. He may ruin his wife’s chances at becoming POTUS.
Excellent...the First Black President’s Black Brother is going up for similar (perhaps even the same) stuff that Brother Bill did.
Will keep it front and center all the way into November.

I hope Cosby finds time to attend the Democrat convention. He could give a few interviews and support his friends Bill and Hill.
Sure there is and most, if not all, the cases are past it. However about ten years ago someone brought a civil case against Cosby and the DA cut a deal. He offered Cosby immunity from criminal prosecution so he count not invoke the 5th and would be forced to testify at the civil case. This is where the incriminating testimony of his comes from.
Fast forward a decade and the current DA is embarrassed that with all this publicity they didn't prosecute Cosby back then. He didn't make the deal so he doesn't feel constrained by it and he got a judge to agree. Furthermore, they argued that since Cosby incriminated himself before the statute of limitations was up, they can still get him. And they have all that great incriminating testimony he gave when he was promised it couldn't be used against him so the case is a slam dunk.
Basically in a nutshell he was given a deal so he would waive his rights, then the deal wasn't honored and now he's screwed because they tricked him into giving up his 5th amendment rights.
I won't shed a single tear for Cosby but were I a criminal I would seriously think twice about taking a deal which forces me to testify in exchange for immunity after seeing this go down.
What evidence exists in allegations of sexual assault, especially after 10 years? Only the "testimonies" of stand-to-gain-by-notoriety "victims" against a deep-pocketed, highly popular celebrity?
I'm not saying that these "assaults" didn't occur, just that there is no real EVIDENCE to even stand trial. In my opinion, sexual assaults don't begin with overtures of intimacy in another's apartment alone. I don't buy the "I said stop in the middle of the advance" crap. Real sexual assaults involve EVIDENCE - attacks, abductions, unlawful illegal break-ins, injuries, ... EVIDENCE. "Date rapes" likely happen, but unless they are report - oh, I don't know - within 10 YEARS, they didn't happen.
Innocent until proven guilty.
Cosby has espoused the conservative principle of personal responsibility in the past. This is a very big motivation for the attacks against him, whether warranted or not.
Well Hillary has been hit hard by non other than DJT.
Personally, I suspect that Billy hopes and prays he doesn't end up in the White House with President Hillary. I think he'd be much happier avoiding the hassle and public scrutiny that would go with being the First Dude.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the privacy of the voting booth he actually votes for Trump.
I think the only reason he campaigns for her now is that he's too old and feeble to risk any more whacks in the head from her thrown ash trays and lamps if he doesn't publicly support her.
Look for DJT to grab that picture soon!
