Ted Cruz and his allies are preparing for the coming National GOP Convention. According to NBC News, Cruz who recently attended a GOP convention in Texas told his supporters that the days ahead will be "challenging" for the Republican Party. He, however, expressed hope that those who remain loyal to him and the party "will be the remnant, will be the core of pulling this country back from the abyss."
Aside from this pronouncement, [he] has remained mum about whether he will throw his support for presumptive nominee Donald Trump. According to the NBC report, the support of Cruz and his allies in Texas is needed by Trump if he is squaring off with Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for the presidential elections. A Texan party elder, Steve Munisteri said that "Ted Cruz has led a national movement, a conservative movement. We certainly need solid conservatives to be behind our nominee [Trump.]"
... Cruz and his allies in the Republican Party are EYEING TO CONTINUE THEIR FIGHT TO RUN THE PARTY. Despite his failure to win over Trump, ... he is still hoping that when he attends the National Convention,... he will be able to bring about key changes in how the party governs itself and picks its presidential nominee. Aside from changes in rules, the party will also be working out its "official policy platform" as well as "determine how much power the RNC has to make new rules of its own."
>>The key discussion points, which will also be the likely flash points during the convention, will include CLOSED PRIMARIES. THIS MEANS DOING AWAY WITH OPEN PRIMARIES AND THE "CONSCIENCE CLAUSE," which will RELEASE CONSERVATIVE DELEGATES FROM SUPPORTING THE PRESUMPTIVE DELEGATE, should that delegate represent views that contradict theirs or the party.

THE “CONSCIENCE CLAUSE,” which will RELEASE CONSERVATIVE DELEGATES FROM SUPPORTING THE PRESUMPTIVE DELEGATE, should that delegate represent views that contradict theirs or the party.
Freepers: It’s two separate issues here-
1) Canceling Open Primaries- Independent voters are larger than R registrations
2) Allowing delegates to be unbound at their own choosing
Screw you Cruz, you rotten bastard, your goal is to stop Trump even at the point of putting Hillary in the White House. At this point, I don’t even want your lying carcassonne SCOTUS.
That one was way back from the early years when the show had real heart and soul.
I would like to see someone in the RNC tell Cruz and his ‘delegates’ to take a hike off a short pier!!!
Felito delenda est.
1. Heidi helped write the documents for the North American Union.
2. Heidi and Ted are in full support of the “Globalist” idea of the North American Union and EU.
3. They are for TPP and although voice about securing our borders, are NOT for securing our borders.
4. Ted Cruz is NOT an “outsider” but the ultimate “Insider”.
Donald Trump is going to mess up the “Play Pretty” of BOTH the Establishment Republicans AND Democrats. Just look at the Republican Candidates who are honoring the pledge to support the Republican Nominee. Is Cruz among them? Is Rubio among them? Is Bush among them? Is Walker among them? Is Carly among them? Is Paul among them? NO
Isn't is nice to know who the “Globalists” are? Those who care more about enriching themselves instead of putting America first?
I hope what he is saying that he wants closed (Republicans only) primaries.
In some states, there is no formal party registration.
However, others do allow Democrats to cross over. I am OK with doing away with that.
The NE article made sure he was on best behavior.
That could be the problem. And it’s very fixable.
I think what is really happening is that some people are flying off the handle by making assumptions about what is really going on and/or not fully understanding what is going on. Articles like this use a headline that is misleading and then don’t give a fully accurate account within the article.
FR has, in the past, been favorable towards closed primaries because, for example, it keeps registered democrats from voting for who should be the republican running in the general.
GOOD one!
Haha. Very good!
The Cruzer is outing himself as a sore loser.
lol
It’s good to have a variety of opinions but there reaches a point where it’s time to wake up. They were supporting an ineligible, failing 3rd place candidate who was mainly winning in crooked caucus states. Maine was a cheat win that kept Ted going and GOP cheats there every 4 years. (Minnesota suspect for Rubio, as well.)
The Cruz benefactors, his Super PACs, his statements, his staff’s behavior really crossed the line. Cruz = faux conservative
So Ted Sleaze basically wants to make all of our delegates into super delegates like the demonrat party has.
How about go to Hell, Ted.
I hate this. I have gone from thinking Cruz was the Number 1 pick to thinking he is mentally unbalanced.
Not if Cruz gets his way...

Cruz is planning on stealing the election from Trump even if Trump wins it...
