A Texas dad says he wasted no time in transferring his daughter to a new school after the 7-year-old reportedly managed to get herself dismissed from school,
I want Rosabella to go too dus (sic) 131 today! the second-grader wrote on half a sheet of notebook filler paper in large print, addressing the note to the staff person underneath.
Though the girl was supposed to attend an after-school program on Monday, the note she wrote and delivered to the staff herself worked. The staff excused little Rosabella Dahu, she boarded the school bus and went home.

Many of the parents’ notes are probably not better, as you say, but it’s also possible that many of the teachers are not that bright either.
FWIW, I did on occasion encounter students whose parents had the child write a note and they scrawled a signature.
Oh, yes, the should of shows up a lot — or “alot”, as too many seem to think it’s spelled. There is, also, the confusion between “your” and “you’re” and between “its” and “it’s”. Then there is my personal favorite “prolly” for “probably”.
My sister wrote a note for me. She said I had a cold in my stomach. The teacher made me stand in front of the cleaning a as to explain what a cold in the stomach feels like. I’m 68 now but still remember being humiliated.
“I wonder if she used the frying pan down the back of her pants,”
Ha! That brings back early memories of my sister and me stuffing golden books in our pajama bottoms for the same reason. Couldn’t have been much over four.
Yeah, of course I wasn’t there, but she was around the same age.
I just remembered another story she told me of when she stuffed a pillow under her shirt and asked her father if he was really going to spank a pregnant women. She said he spanked her even harder for getting pregnant at such a young age (of course he was using that as an excuse). She said she never tried that one again.
That is one inventive woman. I can only imagine what she comes up with now.
Well! Pot! Kettle!! YOU just wrote “should of” and “could
of” BOTH in the same post!! Naughty Butt!!! :o)
She grew out of it. She is a good honest woman, and she makes friends very easily. She is a lot of fun to be around.
Your right in regard to most of your criticisms. It’s a shame when the populous cannot communicate in there own language.
But I hafta say, a few of the mistakes are prolly attempts at clever dialect, effected for affect. Altho I get what your sayin’. Some righters, like Faulkner, should of put a lid on it. I grew up in the South, and we said “goin’ .” Nobody ever said “gwine”.
Imma take yer post wid a grain of salt.
"Dear teacher. Please let Johnny go home early. He's dead. A blonde mother."
"Dear blonde mother. I sent Johnny home. As one blonde to another, I hope Johnny gets better."
Lol! ..... DAMMMMIT!
Lol! Ha ha! I’ve seen the “prolly” thing before, but I seriously thought it was purposeful slang on FR! Ha!
