" Target Corp. made it clear Tuesday that transgender people who visit its stores are welcome to use the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity.
The statement by the Minneapolis-based retailer comes amid debates in many state legislatures over restricting public restroom use to the sex listed on a person’s birth certificate.
While many of those conversations have centered around restrooms in public schools and government buildings, Target appears to be one of the first big-box retailers to take a proactive stance in declaring its position on the matter when it comes to its own restrooms.
While they may not be technically public, restrooms in stores are often the most easily accessible and widely available options outside of people’s homes and workplaces.
Target’s position also extends to its fitting rooms.
“Inclusivity is a core belief at Target,” the company said in a statement on its corporate website. “It’s something we celebrate. We stand for equality and equity, and strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day.”

Why should a little girl even be exposed to a male in the ladies room?
Most girls are brought up to know that the ladies room is “Their Space,No Dicks Allowed”,be it pissing crapping standing or having a seizure on the floor.
Being a janitor in a grammar school(after retirement) and for obvious reasons,(cleaning up accidents) requires going into an active girls room,they all freak.
Why? Because that is how our society rolls.
If you can see that then you are a deranged as those that decide or cant decide due to mental illness,what sex they are.
Target = Dayton Hudson = Liberal Democrat.
I’ve boycotted them for decades so this does not surprise.
I was listening to Dana Loesch last night and her response was classic:
“Just because you put on some boobs, some lipstick, a wig and a dress makes you qualified to come into OUR bathrooms and pretend you’re a woman? No! It’s the most sexist thing I’ve ever heard of. You think these things *make* you a woman, as if there’s nothing more to it than that? No! It’s disgusting and an invasion of our privacy.”
Really surprising that Target thinks their main customer base is transgenders. Hope they buy enough to keep Target in business.
Let’s see if the trannies can keep Target afloat, they’ve lost my business.

Around here Target is where all the trophy wives that are too snobbish to go to Walmart shop.
It’s not just advertising. The one by my house has way too many gay men running registers. The flaming kind, LOUD and PROUD.
Told my husband this morning about this, he was angry. He said never again. He liked going there. But, on the plus side, Walmart built just two minutes outside of my neighborhood. Why would I go to Targay anyway ?

At least two transgenders work at our local Target — one of them is huge and even my little kids were not fooled by his attempts to disguise himself as a woman.
So glad they have been on my boycott list for many years.

Bathrooms are different than lockers.
There isn’t really a big problem with bathroom usage.
If “Miss” Converted Man uses a woman’s bathroom, the stalls are private.
If “Mr.” Converted Woman uses a man’s bathroom, all she/he will see is at most tiny parts of dangling bits. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another person’s dangling bit after over 50 years of urinal use.
Lockers are another issue, since total nudity is common and not hidden.
Maybe they can replace the little logos on the doors with a penis, and a penis with one of those “NO” symbols over it. That way it should be clear to even the most perverted among us.
