I have never seen anyone hated with such vile contemp on free republic as Ted Cruz

Liberals RINOS communists rapists pedophiles Islamic radicals are all treated better.

I see no limits to the rhetorical gutter of the trump mob.

Cruz is now referred to as the anti Christ.

Those of you who participate in this should be ashamed

Those of you who don’t limit it. You are part of it.

Ted Cruz is a great conservative advocate.

Trumps supporters are the sorest winners I have ever seen in my life.

Legitimate Republican voters have mathematically eliminated Cruz from the nomination tonight. It’s time to united behind Trump.

Cruz is a true constitutionalist, and a conservative’s conservative. Too bad he went to the dark side and started politifying and twisting the truth (or even outright lying...) just to try to win. He did us a favor by showing us his other side.

Talking like you and your Cruzite pals do is the reason many of us feel the way we do about Cruz.

We are all guests here, and Jim Robinson has made his views clear since last November. I keep it handy for people like you who seem to have trouble remembering:

So if you’re saying that the site owner should be ashamed, then maybe you ought to take it up with him. Or leave.

I don’t know how else to explain this to you, other than you tell you, you are lost in space.

The Trump folks have been trying to tell you for weeks Ted couldn’t get to 1237 and should drop out. Instead the insults kept on coming to the only viable guy we have to prevent the GOPe from yanking this whole thing out of our hands.

Ted’s supporters here now openly side with the GOPe over accepted forum ideals.

Fair open elections are now criticized by Ted’s team. Closed backroom caucus deals are advocated.

Ted is dead set on destroying any momentum Trump could gain from one of the biggest assets a presidential contender has, the party Convention where he is acknowledged as the party leader and give the full support of the party.

Ted plans on contesting the convention every second he can, and to heck with the nominee and whether Ted as seriously harmed his chances.

We have the best chance of overcoming the GOPe in my lifetime, and your guy is frittering it all away with his “I’m more important than anyone else”, attitude!

Frankly, I’m surprised folks haven’t come down harder on Cruz by now, who is still at this moment telling folks he can still yank it away at the convention.

The man is a mental basket case. He is not an enemy of the GOPe. He is taking it on the chin for the GOPe. If he were a Conservative he’d be taking it on the chin for us.

I have never seen anyone hated with such vile contemp on free republic as Ted Cruz>>>> i agree i have seen some nasty stuff. but i was taken aback when i heard on hannity today cruz said he won the last 8 elections where Millions (i might be exaggerating) voted. I would like to fact check this because caucuses usually have low turnout in numbers of people who participate and they are not elections at least how i understand the process. doesn’t rise to the level of anti-christ. just a norrmal lawyer and politician. which are bad in my mind. but you are correct he has been a strong advocate for conservative policy.

I have never seen anyone hated with such vile contemp on free republic as Ted Cruz///

If he had a shred of integrity he would have suspended on 15 March after losing 6 out 6 big states. Instead he wants to drag this out to June to get a contested convention where he can steal the nomination.

This is why so many hold him in contempt. The republican voter has spoken and cruz is not who they want. Expect this to get worse as cruzzes scorched earth march to a distant second continues.

“Ted Cruz is a great conservative advocate.”

Ted may advocate for conservative ideals, but when given the chance to actually demonstrate those principles in action, and in real life, he’s failed again and again to live up to his unearned reputation as a ‘consistent conservative’.

You’re enamored of a fraud who doesn’t deserve your allegiance.

I have never seen a presidential candidate who hates me with such vile contempt as Ted Cruz.

In fact, I'm in not one, but two demographic groups that he despises: Non-Dominionists and Voters.

I for one am glad that you continue to support your favored candidate here. Without persons of differing viewpoints the discussions here would have little to offer.

That said, there has been plenty of animosity on both sides. It is difficult to determine which side expresses the greatest amount of animosity. Despite Cruz supporters currently being greatly outnumbered they still manage to put in an impressive showing. If it weren't for the Free Republic Caucus I am not sure that one would know who the favored candidate actually was.

So keep up your good work.

Possibly evaluate two thoughts:

Conservatives who think they can save the GOP are really playing Russian roulette, and no conservative who supports Trump hates Cruz.

Many Republicans lean libertarian, but they hate the wacky pot and open borders enough not to identify as one. You’ll have to learn how to talk to them without insulting them.
