Ouch.
Januarys numbers are looking bad for Mark Levin, who has been on a recent Crusade against Donald Trump for his New York Values.

“He (Rush) is actually part of the Establishment...”
I’m not sure he is, but then again I didn’t like what I heard on Friday. The LAST THING that The Establishment wants is to be forced out of the shadows. They had a GREAT GAME going - where they would select candidates at the dog catcher level, fund them, and eventually some made it to high power positions...which is why true conservatives very rarely made it to high office, even though the HUGE MAJORITY of Republican primary voters are true conservatives. Scott Walker’s early days is an example that comes to mind. He’s running for Milwaukee City Council and he asked about Illegals (or somehow gets on the topic - maybe regarding Sanctuary Cities)...he says that he’s for Open Borders (I use that term very loosely here)...and he gets the support needed to move up and up. Had he said that he’s for Secure Borders (as in building a wall), The Establishment would have politely thanked him and moved on to another candidate, until they find who they want...we would have never even heard his name.
By the time the vetting process was over, you had 17 candidates running for the Republican nomination. 15 were clearly Open Borders, 1 was debatable (Cruz), and Trump was the other.
That’s the way The Establishment likes it (with the exception of Trump, of course), with their work being done quietly, behind the scenes...and giving the Republican voters a slate with more than 90% of the candidates being for Open Borders, yet a Republican voter base that’s 70% for Secure Borders...that left many of us scratching our heads, including Rush. It took him a long time to figure out the scam, but he did, and HE EXPOSED IT...which is the only reason that I know of it, and most others here know of it. He deserves a LOT of credit for that, and he CLEARLY was not making friends with The Establishment in doing that.
Trump then comes along and finally starts cracking some heads in that bunch. Rush could have EASILY have joined The Establishment in telling us that Trump is a big phoney and is unelectable (as Medved preaches non-stop), but Rush pretty much treated both Trump and Cruz equally. About the only thing that Rush did do that looked Establishment-driven to me was his drooling over Rubio...but thankfully Trump dispatched Rubio (at least for now).
At this point I’m thinking that Rush has joined just about every candidate other than Trump and has undergone a personality change due to the intensity of the campaign, and Rush is simply tired of seeing Trump in one ‘scandal’ after another...some of Trump’s making...most not, but still a ‘scandal’ as far as Rush having to react to it. He does seem to understand that the only effect that Cruz can still have in this primary season is to drive it to a Brokered Convention, where Cruz probably won’t even get a ticket to attend, much less be the nominee...so I’m wondering if his fatigue is preventing him from making that connection when gets on Trump’s case.
I’ll listen again next week...maybe he’ll calm down by then.
...I think that I was typing my dissertation while you were posting your comment.
Savage is somewhat insane. He started acting like it was Trumps fault, that rumors of Cruz being a serial adulterer came out.
He’s working for the Cruz money he’ll get if he helps him win. Like most of the media. It isnt about America.

Wow. That’s a 180 from how he’s been treating Trump. And over something Trump had nothing to do with.
Trump probably will be back on his show now.
We actually cut cable and went all internet media. Don’t miss cable at all and saving ps are close to $150 a month with better options, IMHO. We also stream One America News. I’ll never go back. Cheers and happy Easter!
I just hope we can all reconcile when the primaries are over. It’s human nature for a conservative to be loyal to a fault. For those who went after each other’s candidates I don’t see an issue. For those we saw ripping each other? I think there were several trolls out there fanning those flames. That may take a little more effort to bring folks back in those cases, minus the trolls.
Rush pretty much ignored it, but that was preferable to what Beck did. He went full on Alinsky with his mockery of those who know what natural born citizen means.
I didn’t give up on Rush until he told me Amnesty Boy Rubio was a real conservative, even though he refuses to conserve the nation and the rule of law.
I’ve stopped listening to both him and Medved. It’s not that I’m a huge Trump fan, but rather it’s exhausting to listen to three straight hours of psychotic ranting about the same topic.
We did the same since 2007. We would have done it earlier but cable TV was part of our condo services and included in the condo fee. We have cable but it only for the Internet We don’t have a landline phone, either.
In my view, Levin and Limbaugh, Will and Krauthammer, Megyn Kelly and HOW MANY other supposed TV “conservatives, and amazing to me—Cruz, as well as HOW MANY other supposedly “conservative” politicians, and how many foreign leaders, politicians, and HOW MANY “conservative” publications—
have all exposed themselves as anything but conservative in their frantic reaction to Trump?
If either of you have a Roku device, you can stream One America News. It is far better an any other station.
Saw Phish for the first and only time in when they were the opening act for Leon Russell / Edgar Winter at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz back in ‘89 or ‘90. I was there to see Leon, but much of the crowd seemed to be there to see Phish — they knew the lyrics to every song. I’d never even heard of them before. They played some noodling jams, but other than that didn’t remind me of the Dead at all. Key signatures were changing by the minute. Prog rockers, which the Dead never were. Didn’t like their music at all. ...but I do like the Dead.
I’ll check out the ‘77 Tuscaloosa Dead show bootleg for your “I Know You Rider” shout out...lol: https://archive.org/details/gd1977-05-17.sbd.stretch.5420.shnf
When Rush had to admit that he met with Schumer to lay off on that gang of 8 deal, that told me everything I needed to know.
I gave Rush the benefit of the doubt. I didn’t believe that story when it came out about him and that meeting because I thought that sounded too kooky but then he admitted it and got mad at the audience who questioned him.
He’s done in my opinion. Rush sold out, he needs to retire.
“She snorts at it whenever folks comment..lol”
Thumbs up to your Rib!
Yes, that was indefensible. Rush tried to make a joke about it.
Just listened to that whole Tuscaloosa show from 5/17/77. They were on their game that day. Impressive versions of Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodeloo, Brown-eyed Women, Terrapin, Tennessee Jed, and a few others. Unfortunately most the audience chatter between songs was edited out, so I didn’t get to hear your request for I Know You Rider.
My problem isn’t Cruz but Obama. He never released the Nordyke birth certificate
I think they opened with half step....
Man they played about everything that night
I saw them in Baton Rouge .....their first time in Louisiana since the French quarter bust....not as good a show
I also saw them in Jackson MS arts festival with a small crowd
BeBop the local productions outfit and record store chain owned by Drake Elder just had to have them play Jackson and even with just the festival floor full they played a very heartfelt show till the Fire Marshall shut them down around 2am and then went home with the local production brass to an all night party jam out at the resevoir....groupies for Bobby Weir of course
The sound was awful in Jackson but the band knew folks around there also knew it was the one and only time in fairly small Jackson Miss the Dead would ever play there
We were really happy with that one....
I saw them at the Fox in Atlanta around then too
My concert interest in the Dead sorta petered out after that
Around here the band that draws like that is Panic
