On Sunday Donald Trump went on CNN and was asked once again about David Duke’s endorsement. Trump told Jake Tapper he didn’t know anything about David Duke or white supremacy.
This sent shock waves across the liberal media and GOP establishment circles.
I’ve seen Rush’s true colors after his love affair with the Bush family and the Second Iraq War, he was a real promoter for “W” and that crazy war, especially after he was invited to spend the night in the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House. His inflated view of himself was best summarized by a poster on this site years ago: “I am Rush Limbaugh and I am friends with God and other important people”.
You would think that any Conservative would demand that before the media ask insulting questions of Conservatives--asking them to vet and reject the support of fringe types;--that they apply the same insulting--but actually relevant tactic in the latter case--of asking Mrs. Clinton, and Mr. Obama, whether they will repudiate the support--and tutelage--of some of their known actual mentors, who were engaged in preaching the overthrow of American institutions, during the formative training of the said Mrs. Clinton & Mr. Obama?
Co-0rdinated plan. A couple days ago there was a magazine cover with Trump’s pic superimposed in front of two hooded klansmen. And two hooded”klansmen” outside one of Trump’s rallies. One of the hooded guys was holding a sign, and his hand was Black! Co-ordinated attack!
So why did Trump avoid the Duke endorsement question then? It seemed to me that Rush was trying to give him an out by saying the Sunday news shows were a different level of importance than other media and what he said would be taken out of context.
Guess Rush is looking for a few more free dinners from Rubio and Schumer.
That’s what I think. Rush has built his empire on identifying the issues and defining the conservative narrative. Now along comes Trump and blows it all to hell.
Rush’s future would be dim regardless but the election of a pragmatic populist with conservative leanings would end it. He would have nothing to talk about.

Heard him say it live. Long on the anti-Trump innuendo. Still talking up the Christie phony controversy, no mention of the Sessions endorsement.
Really, Rg? Are some of the Cruz people so besotted by the CruzLade that they'll give credence to a phony Media DeathStar construct?

I have confidence Trump will survive the Media DeathStar, but I'll live if he doesn't. :)
I didn’t listen to every minute but I didn’t hear Rush say this.
He was also busy explaining having dinner with Schumer and Graham in an amnesty push.
Never heard anything like it from him.

No, it is not out of context. Rush is trying to submarine Trump. Rush has also reiterated that Rubio is a real conservative. Rush is so over.
There appears to be an answer, but who CARES what Gotchas the Media builds to destroy its targets?
You should have learned that much from Trump's campaign.
If you haven't, the Media will do the same thing to ANY conservative candidate till the end of time, and the coming of the US socialist dictatorship.
It was posted on FR, I forgot which thread, that David Duke’s website (sorry, I do not have a link) said that he never endorsed Trump.
Ignoring trump’s history isnt realistic. Trump wrote in his book duke is why he left the reform party. Admirable then so all trump had to do is remind the media of that
I have no idea what Trump was doing. I was stunned when I saw that. Tapper gave him 3 chances to bail himself out.
I heard it. Rush said Trump left wiggle room intentionally on CNN regarding racist endorsements. Not sure what Rush was trying to get across other than suggest Trump wants white supremacist support.

Yep Rush’s theory was that Trump disavowed on Friday, Saturday and Monday but deliberately wouldn’t do it on Sunday.
You should have all figured this when Rush started pushing Rubio despite gang of eight.
