Dear Trump Supporters,
You say you don't support Ted Cruz because he's a liar (even though he backs up everything he says) and plays dirty politics (like sabotaging Dr Carson's run in Iowa). The former has been dealt with every time it's brought up. I want to deal with the latter definitively.
You say that Ted Cruz deliberately sabotaged Dr Carson in Iowa. However, it has been shown conclusively that Ted's team got the information from CNN who got the information from Dr Carson's team. If that hurt Dr Carson's results... show me one person who changed his vote because of that information. By now, someone should have come forward.
You want to know who is playing dirty politics? Your guy. I know many people who would like to vote for Ted Cruz but they don't think he's eligible due to the birther issue... because of your guy. There is a demonstrative level of support for Ted that is being suppressed by the allegation. Yet, the only definitive statement on the subject from an objective source (IL Board of Elections) has ruled in Ted's favor.
Your guy persists. Constitutional scholar that Donald Trump is, he persists with the birther comments and suppresses Ted Cruz's support. Oh wait... it's not because of the Constitution. Trump will drop it if Ted apologizes. Seriously? This isn't a Constitutional issue for Trump, it's personal... and that is his Achilles Heal. It's all personal for Trump.
You want to challenge Ted Cruz's eligibility? Do it. You simply want to keep the issue alive to hurt his campaign? That's just the usual dirty politics... and your guy isn't the paragon of virtue you claim.
So... put up or shove it.
Laughable. Cruz is anything but party first.
There’s is a difference. Actually a vote for Trump, is a vote for a king. A vote for anyone else is a vote for a president of a republic hanging by a string.
I open to DT changing my mind. But up to now, DT actions and rhetoric in this campaign tells me he would rule as a king more so than obama.
I've said as such. Repeatedly. What I don't understand is why FR has turned so rabidly against a man we essentially invited to run for President because of his performance in the Senate. We have two good horses in the race. I don't fully trust Trump because he hasn't been terribly consistent... but I'll crawl over broken glass if he's the nominee. I get the opposite from Trump supporters... some even on this thread.
Trump has not lost his touch. In today’s rally he called up on stage two men who addressed a demonstrator. It was a perfect political act, a thing of beauty. One of them was a soldier who had two years in Iraq - the young man was a crowd favorite and the place went wild. No, Trump hasn’t lost anything. He needed to go after Cruz. He didn’t have a choice. But rest assured, Trump is just as sharp as ever.
Yawn indeed.
Cruz is over. These threads are getting boring.
I said “most”. The terrible slogan Cruz or Lose suggests that those who posted it for so long would not vote for anyone else, and many have posted that they won’t, hence my use of Cruzor Losers. If that’s not you, then great.
Cruz was one of my top choices before Trump entered the race. But I have become very put off by his tactics and lawyerly evasions. Also his pretending that his Canadianess is not an issue. He knows very well it is not “settled law” as he claims. Even though I think it’s likely SCOTUS would declare him eligible, there’s a very real chance they could go the other way. And I think the Democrats would keep him off the ballots in key states, forcing Cruz to sue to be put on. To ask us to gamble the future of the country on the results of a lawsuit is just wrong.
Look. Nobody here went into this campaign with a raging attitude. The PAC ads and Cruz’s lies have brought this all out on himself.
Nah. It's inflammatory... but instructive.
I stay away from the forum a lot more during silly season.
I never thought I'd take good advice from Laz... but I'd hit that.
Yeah. Not sure why Beck doesn’t espouse this. I guess because it doesn’t fit the narrative.

The Making of America by Skousen, author of The 5000 Year Leap
p. 528
“To be a candidate for President of the United States, a person must be a natural-born citizen, or a citizen at the time of the adoption of the Constitution.
This provision gave the American people the RIGHT to have a President who would always be one of their own native-born fellow citizens.
A temporary exception was made for a number of the most valiant patriots. It will be appreciated that there were many persons of foreign birth who helped to create the United States, and these would have been rendered ineligible for the office of President had this provision had not been inserted in the Constitution. Seven of the signers of the Constitution were foreign born: James Wilson, Robert Morris and Thomas Fitzsimons of Pennsylvania; Alexander Hamilton of New York; William Paterson of New Jersey; James McHenry of Maryland; and Pierce Butler of South Carolina.”
Trump caught lying on camera. Who will he sue now? CNN? he must have one heck of a long list.
Trump’s rally was 1/3rd empty lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vz1F58BvlE0&feature=youtu.be
This wasn't personal to you... unless you are one of the ones denigrating one of our two best options this election cycle. This is a rant about shooting ourselves in the foot. On one hand, we're going to go 24/7 that Cruz stole Iowa from Carson. On the other, we're going to pretend to care about his eligibility because it hurts his support.
If you are among those tearing down one of our top-tier anti-establishment candidates... then this is for you.
I would NEVER invoke Mr. Robinson's name to support a post of mine or to oppose something someone else posted. It's presumptuous, and it's not necessary.
JimRob is not shy about correcting posters who stray too far from what he wants on the site. Hiding behind him is wimpy.
And, although he's expressed support for Cruz, he's been quite tolerant about Making America Great Again - after all, that's what FR is for.
Your first paragraph was a single sentence. LOL.
I was a Giuliani supporter, and I’m still here (after 18 years and 36 000 posts).
I don’t imagine anybody is going to get kicked off here over Making America Great Again.
No. I’m saying that since Jim Robinson is for Cruz then Trumpbots should stop slamming Cruz. Or leave FR.
My position is that I like Cruz in the primary, but if Trump wins the nomination I’m all in for Trump in the general.
And I’m not trying to make anyone leave FR!
No to the GOPe amnesty pimps!
No to the America-hating socialist/communist/fascist democraps!
Yes to Cruz or Trump!
Secure the USA!!
I support Trump because he isn’t Cruz, the rest with exception of Carson are also Cruz.
Your rant was very weak, and yes Cruz is going over the edge, he is desperate, just like Bush and Ruby.
Amen.
DEATH TO THE UNIPARTY!
GO TRUMP!
GO CRUZ!
WE WIN!
THEY LOSE!
Cruz can do that best with Conservatism.
Trump can do that second best with Populism.
I’ll vote Cruz. I can vote Trump.
THE DEFINING ISSUE OF OUR TIMES:
DEATH TO THE UNIPARTY!!!!!
