CNN's Jake Tapper called the announcement from Carson "very unusual" and noted "almost every single candidate" would travel directly to New Hampshire after the caucuses.

"If you want to be President of the United States, you don't go home to Florida," Bash responded.

On Twitter, @TheLeadCNN told its 32,000 followers that Carson "will return to FL following #IAcaucus, will not go to either NH or SC." The account for CNN's politics section tweeted to 420,000 followers that the retired neurosurgeon "plans to take a break from campaigning."

SO, the entire impression that Carson was suspending his campaign came from CNN, and now they're accusing Cruz of spreading it? When they sent it to a half-million twitter users and also said it live on air?

Tell it to the Iowa elections commissioner. The radio is reporting they now say Cruz was in violation of election law and they will pursue it if Carson asks them to as he is the one with standing.

It is a new site but I thought there was a thing about duplicate or near-duplicate threads. I may be wrong though, I’m still pretty new here and my understanding is my opinions are 100% invalid because of that.

I did not say All day. I said I was out for a while today, and I did not see any of the posts, so I appreciate the post. I often will do a bump on a story that I believe Freepers might want to see—and these stories are not limited to the election. Frankly, there is a lot of news going on that is being ignored because of the feuding on this site.

Didn’t mean to be so sensitive, but there seems to be a move afoot by some of the more vitriolic Cruz supporters to extinguish any news stories that are not supportive of their chosen candidate.

I hope your true objection was that you saw what was a violation of sorts and not that a negative article about Cruz is appearing frequently on the latest post page and you don’t like the content...

From what I have seen, for better or worse, it seems to me there is equal posting of anti-Cruz and anti-Trump stories.

I read that to. I'm wondering if they didn't back off when they found out the rumor wasn't true. If you read through all the stuff, it seems that the stuff that was forwarded from Cruz campaign leaders to all caucus leaders is the problem. No way should it have been from the central authority unless it was confirmed.

That's my take on it.

I believe that had this phony controversy not arisen, started by foolish Carson remarks and stoked by the Trumper Tantrum, Carson would have already withdrawn.
Now, the attacks by the Baby on Carson several debates ago was REALLY sickening and completely below the belt. But hey, all is forgiven by his cultists.
