“Cam’s “urban”?”
KeithB’s spellchecker was probably at fault.
I’m pretty sure KeithB originally typed “urbane”, and spellcheck converted the word to “urban”.

“Urban” is putting it nicely. I knew my Cardinals were going to be absolutely crushed yesterday, so the outcome was no surprise. They just aren’t that good and Palmer has proven over and over that he just doesn’t have the mental fortitude for big games. They got too many wins by luck or bad officiating this year. But I really, really can’t stand Pig Newton OR Mouthbreather Manning, so I won’t be watching the Stupid Bowl this year.

Well, Bendy, we have a long way to go till Game Day. After yesterday, I don’t see how the Broncos can muster enough scoring to beat the Panthers, but I’ll hold off on an official pick till next week. Kubiak has time to come up with a game plan, but I fear a replay of Seahawks - Broncos from two years ago.

It comes down to this:
can the Broncos scrounge up a decent running game so they keep Cam Newton on the sidelines as much as possible? Think about it: the 2015 season Broncos remind people a LOT of the 1977 season Broncos: awesome defense, but middling offense. With Peyton Manning now on the physical decline and the Panthers' Luke Kuechly threatening to overrun Peyton anytime during the game, it could become a repeat of Super Bowl XII.
Panthers 38, Broncos 17, in my humble opinion.

L in football stands for “loss”. That’s why you can’t have a Super Bowl L. You can, however, have a Super Bowl XXX and the NFL doesn’t mind.

It’ll be a close one. I predict a Manning comeback in the 2nd half but only to come up a little short, Carolina wins by a nose.

The last team Denver faced a mobile quarterback with a stifling defense in a Super Bowl it didnât work out so well.
Most teams that face a stifling defense do not do so well.
