Survivors of the harrowing attack in Burkina Faso have described how jihadis targeted Westerners by executing those who looked to be European as they lay injured after being gunned down.
At least one American and six Canadians, as well as French, Dutch and Swiss nationals are among the 29 people from 18 different countries killed during the 15-hour terror attack by Al-Qaeda militants.
Burkinabe special forces, assisted by 30 French special forces, broke the lengthy siege last night by storming the Splendid Hotel in Ouagadougou. Three of the gunmen were killed after a firefight before the hotel was re-captured by special forces.

I’ve seen the ads for Viking River Cruises and so want to take one of those - but not now. I also like history and want to visit WW1 and WW2 battle fields, see ancient cathedrals, stuff like that ... all that is gone.
Heck visiting Egypt would have been nice at one point. But it is certain death to whoever travels there now.
I had about decided to get a passport and do one of the river cruises myself while still physically capable enough but have severe resevations about it now.
..
Think instead of a driving tour of our very large nation-—minus the Commie states-—since I can take a steel companion or two with me.
This 10:1 ratio is a problem for me.
Next Hajj needs to be carpet bombed. Or nuked if that seems excessive...
Islam has already repeatedly declared war on us, and yet we don’t engage.
Go to Budapest, which still actually feels like it’s in Europe, the Danube cruise is awesome.
There’s a lot of American heritage to see before it’s all taken down/covered up/removed by the liberal PC crowd.
Go to Buenos Aires. Where the Nazis escaped lol. The city is very European, excellent wine and amazing steak.
Don’t blame the victims. Blame the Muslims. Islam must be destroyed, root and branch.
Might be a good idea when visiting some of these places to go shopping and buy oneself a good knife or two. Help the local economy, acquire a souvenir.
Might even be good to mentally prepare for some possibiities ahead of time.
“What should I do if.....”
Surprised in our house church time this AM to have a visitor from St. Louis tell us one of the victims was a friend of a church friend of hers - a missionary with wife and 3 children who headed up an orphanage there.
He was in the restaurant where the thing began, leaves behind wife & 3 children and no one to head up the orphanage.
Prayers up for the family and the orphanage.
As long as I can get to Dead Horse Point UT every three to five years I will survive not seeing Europe.
Why would anyone in their right mind go to Burkina Faso?
...
I guess because it’s a warm and cheap vacation. Even though it’s 60% Muslim, the government is secular. They also have a still active slave trade in some parts of the country.
I did a car tour of the US a while back, did a loop from Seattle to Chicago then down south to Andersonville, GA (infamous POW camp during the CW) and then west and up through Bryce Canyon and back to Seattle. Nice drive. I’d like to do a US 2 from Seattle east ....
That’s a great idea! My husband wants to take my daughter on a national park tour and stay in the US. We did the Grand Canyon in October but will be sidelined for awhile as I’m expecting the second in May.
Pretty much as you said, “until next week”.
But, this is illustrative of what the Dems euphemistically call “ smart power”.

Dark Ages 2.0, Huge swaths of the Mediterranean were depopulated by moslem pirates and slavers during the dark ages. The end of the space age, and freedom of religion and western Christian democracy are here.
Good luck!
I have a 2 year old grand daughter/ 4 month grandson / and two year old great grandson. They are kind of messy :<)
I should go now with fuel prices so low.
BLM is what came to mind for me, as well.
It seems to me Blaze Orange Camoflauge fatigues are rather.... contradictory?
