We just lost power....... running on a hotspot off my cell phone
One more dead in Garland at that overpass were cars were blown off road and landed on ground below. That is 5 dead from that happening.
That bottom photo is from Rockwall looking west along I-30 towards Rowlett.

Two people dead in Copeville. Which is Collin County. They died at a gas station that had damage.
Well, my tablet is down to just 15% power, so I’ve only got a little while left to stay on here. Hopefully Oncor will get our electricity restored overnight.

I always keep a marine auto/boat battery charged. Gives you a few hours low power on an inverter. Well. Better go make sure mine is charged fully now. Stocked up on frozen dinners for the storm. Might have a problem with that plan.
The mid west best hunker down, wes done we been done for hours
Got a bunch of frozen jugs of water in the freezers and fridge, glass door on a wood stove heats and provides a nightlight for the house fine. LED Lanterns and headlamps, oil lamps etc ..... crockpot of chili and stew and pintos went on snack mode at noon today so we will be ok till power guys fix what needs fixing ........ hope they don’t go up the poles in this wind. Hotspot on the cell phone keeps the internet up......:o)
Listened to a guy in Galveston during IKE with a deep cell battery and a long wire on the shortwave
