I always keep a marine auto/boat battery charged. Gives you a few hours low power on an inverter. Well. Better go make sure mine is charged fully now. Stocked up on frozen dinners for the storm. Might have a problem with that plan.

Got a bunch of frozen jugs of water in the freezers and fridge, glass door on a wood stove heats and provides a nightlight for the house fine. LED Lanterns and headlamps, oil lamps etc ..... crockpot of chili and stew and pintos went on snack mode at noon today so we will be ok till power guys fix what needs fixing ........ hope they don’t go up the poles in this wind. Hotspot on the cell phone keeps the internet up......:o)
