Fox News posed this question on their morning show. My wife and I looked at each other and said in unison "I resign". But seriously ... your thoughts.

Then he should say two words: I resign.

In a somewhat indirect fashion, that is exactly what he’s going to say. He is going to defend the Muslims and blame everyone else.

Obama is such a committed ideologue with a tin ear, that I think you are right. He will make two points tonight, both of which you stated.
I resign would be nice to hear, but that isn’t going to happen.
There is lot of talk of further executive action on guns, but that wouldn’t be a prime time Sunday night speech.
We have been and still are under a declared State of Emergency. The NDAA gives him a wide range of powers.
I venture he is announcing Presidential action based on those delegated powers. His “crisis,” is the California event is proving to be ISIL.
This may just be night we have all been prepping for.
He will parse his words and do everything he can to put a different spin on Terrorism, Etc..
My big gripe is that the Frank Sinatra Special is on and this speech will interfere with that.
