Sobering report. If you have cancer, you should avoid sugar of any kind. If you don't want cancer, I suggest that you limit your sugar intake. Avoid "high fructose corn syrup", and processed sugars. If you want to lose weight, avoid things that quickly become sugar (white breads, potato, rice, alcohol, etc). Reducing these things has a major impact on your liver and pancreas. Eat lots of green things!

I have to agree. Between the high-fructose corn syrup in nearly everything, to the fruits and fruit juices people think are so good for them, and soda... it's not good. For the last six months I've been living on meat, cheese, eggs, veggies, and nuts. Cream in my coffee. I've lost about 1/6 of my body weight and my appetite has simply receded to manageable levels. I eat one serving of meat a day, maybe two of veggies. Nibble on the rest occasionally. I definitely feel better.
“This will be âtrue,â until it is no longer âtrue.â”
I have been reading this for about thirty years.
Cancer really is drawn to sugar. I’ve had four cancers, I’m clear now though. When I have a PET scan, they give me “with and without contrast” the “with” part is sugar stuff, so any cancers will be bathed in it and “light up” So far, so good!
Wow, congrats on winning these battles!
Good work!
LOL.
The last time we ate some chocolate chip cookies the sugar in them taated way too metallic. Funny how it changes your taste buds.
Personally I think cancer is hit or miss. Just something goes wrong. I know a nun who died from lung cancer. From a small village in Mexico and never smoked a day In her life. Not saying smoking is good for you just if you are gonna get it youâre gonna get it.
I know people who have never done anything to cause cancer whoâve had it and watch people who shouldâve died young live to 90.
Hit and miss.

I created their Margarita mix. The General Manager came to me one day and said we’re going to start making our own mix. He gave me a 20 gallon nylon vat with a spigot. I had to recreate the individual recipe, but make it as a 20 gallon batch. It started with 30 lb. of pure cane granulated sugar dissolved in water to fill, 20 quarts of Clearman’s silver tequila, 10 quarts of Bols Triple Sec, and assorted other secret ingredients. Some weekends we used two to three of those batches! Talk about a sugar fix....
Yes...degrees...that’s why she chose to live with sugar (she was a sugarholic)...and 79 years old.
I think you answered your own questions....lots of natural, healthy living...:>}
Fun size M&Ms isn’t a problem. 12 ounce bag is.
I have coconut oil and cinnamon in my coffee.
I’m so sorry...didn’t mean to dump...just feel so sorry that she blamed herself. I like studying nutrition and have saved my health because of it, SO FAR...but, won’t blame it on my death...LOL.
bkmk
Correct that cancers feed on sugars. Best to avoid all the sweet foods if diagnosed. However, since the gut bugs need starches, eating tubers in a good ratio to your healthy proteins and fats is still a good thing. Though some cancers do get nipped in the bud by ketogenic diets.
I’m agreeing with you in general on this one.

She swore up and down it cured her cancer- Couldn’t tell her otherwise- I feel it was the treatments she received that actually cured her- but that is the problem with the power of suggestion- One could just as easily have made the case that because she wore blue sneakers while she had cancer that the sneakers were responsible for her cure
cold hard facts beat anecdotal experiences any day- that is why it’s so important to only trust things that have been clinically trialed to rule out any other possibilities- I can’t tell you how many articles I’ve read saying things like “Vinegar cured my cancer” or “The Juice from Papaya skins healed my melanoma” etc etc etc
[[One sugary soda a day probaly isnât enough to make any difference.]]
One is good, 5 is better-
Question- are cancer cells only fueled by sugars? Or is it that sugars ‘may help further fuel’ cancer cells? I find it hard to believe that cancer cells couldn’t exist without sugars because we know people who eat no sugars still end up getting cancers
[[Fun size M&Ms isnât a problem. 12 ounce bag is.]]
a 12 ounce bag is a fun size
Some people can’t handle or comprehend the truly vast complexity of the human body. It’s amazing and it’s amazing how many things can go wrong with it. What’s also amazing is people don’t die faster and more often from random mistakes in the encoding, copying, death at the cellular level. Our cells are dieing and replacing cells at phenomenal rates. The failsafes are also amazing. Some people think that one action small or large - diet, stress, environment, location can all have a majority effect either to increas or decrease cellular mistakes but not to the level some here think it does. Bless your mom for having lived a long life and rejoice that her genetics were passed to you. I think that’s the biggest influence on it all.
