A transgender woman trying to find love has told how she is rejected by straight men for having 'male parts' and was even called an 'abomination' by her own father. Claire Green, 20, from Virginia, says she has no problem meeting men but they often disappear once they find out she used to be a boy. After transitioning over a year ago, she found the courage to go to the beach in a bikini for the first time on BBC Three documentary, Young, Trans And Looking For Love which airs on Monday.

I actually know a couple where the girl used to be a guy and the guy is actually OK with that? They are both in their 50’s but I look at the guy who is “with” a pseudo female and think he must have a weird streak.

Realistically there is more mental illness than intersexual abnormalities. None the less, I have known a number of people who have them.
My point is simply to be accurate in what determines sex, and that is the functioning of the endocrine system primarily during gestation.
After the body passes the development stage artificially induced hormonal changes are of limited effectiveness and can pose health hazards.
