Presidential candidate Rick Santorum has issued a bombshell statement about ISIS, claiming that the USA created the terror group and are thus ultimately responsible for the Paris attacks.
Speaking at a GOP meeting on Saturday, Santorum said that President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are directly responsible for the creation of ISIS/ISIL.
He said that the terrorist group "is a creation of a political decision by Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to abandon Iraq -- against all of our generals' recommendations, against all of the policy recommendations."
"Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, under her watch, decided politics above the security of our country and the stability and security of the world," said Santorum, who served as a senator representing Pennsylvania from 1995 to 2007.
ISIL terrorists, who were initially trained by the CIA in Jordan in 2012 to destabilize the Syrian government, now control parts of Syria and Iraq. They have been engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control.
The United States and its allies have been conducting airstrikes against ISIL in Iraq and Syria since last year.
Observers say while the US and its allies claim they are fighting against terrorist groups like ISIL, they in fact helped create and train those organizations to affect their policies in the Middle East.
According to US geopolitical commentator Dean Henderson, the United States and its allies have encouraged the spread of the ISIL terrorist group in the Middle East to create a "perpetual war" in the region and advance the American military-industrial complex.
"This is what ISIS is all about, this is the reason that ISIS exists, because we're going to be able to make a lot more arms sales to a lot more actors in the Middle East," said Dean Henderson

Not a bombshell. Just the truth.
He’s exactly right.
Rick should know what “cause” and “create” mean. He means to say that the leaders of this country created conditions that made it easy and likely for the savages to create the Islamic state.
Side Note: Is Al-Qaeda dead? Or just transformed and rebranded?
HOORAY Santorum
Freeing citizens via armed forces without giving those “free” the right to keep and bear arms to secure their lives, liberty, possessions and “free republic” is a recipe for insanity. Witness current events, foreign and domestic.
ISIS was directly and willfully created by Barak Obama.
He also created the conditions for it to grow and thrive
The death count of the Democrats is easily within the millions. Both they and the liberals who back them must not only answer to their crimes in the afterlife, but must also answer to their crimes from We The People.
Did he say the US created isis or Obama created isis ?
No, he meant exactly what he said. ISIS is Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s tar baby (intentionally racist allusion alert), trained and armed by US operatives at the expense of American taxpayers. Separating out what parts of this were intentionally evil vs. incredibly stupid will be the subject of History graduates’ doctoral dissertations well into the twenty second century.
Is there really a difference?
All Hillary has to do is to utter the three magic words—”it’s Bush’s fault”—and the media will run with it, evidence or no evidence.
And today’s selection, Santorum wakes up.
He had a chance at the nomination last time. Just when he was gaining momentum, he started blabbering about the "need to compromise". That's wrong. You can't compromise on principle.
Santorum said that President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are directly responsible for the creation of ISIS/ISIL....Let’s not forget McCain, who had his picture taken with the Head of ISIL.
