Have heard this three times in the past half hour. Female host asks, "how did these guys get assault weapons in France? France is not the United States where assault weapons are easy to come by". Later expert said "this is the fear of American officials- hitting soft targets in this country when guns are so easy to come by." Moments ago said "police in this country are not prepared to blunt an attack such as this considering how easy guns are to obtain." Second expert claims "refugee's fleeing this same violence- just a few cases of refugee's causing problems".
Liberals need to sit down, shut up and let adults make policy. They’ve lost the argument.

Just a few weeks ago Hillary was calling for the confiscation of guns.
Now we have an incident and Hillary is proven right we need to confiscate guns before it happens here.

I went to a local 9-11 candlelight vigil and it was the most "poor us" maudlin event I had ever attended. I went, expecting "trampling out the vintage" rhetoric and instead heard a lot of mamby-pamby b/s by the pastor and mayor. I vowed then "NEVER AGAIN!"

Except for automatic weapons registered prior to October 1986, it’s not legal to own an automatic weapon in the U.S. Thus, unless an automatic weapon is at least 29 years old, it’s not legal to own in the U.S.
I suppose you can argue what constitutes a modern battlefield weapon, but nothing made since Oct 1986 is legal to own in this country.
The articles I read about the terrorists said they were using fully automatic weapons, but those articles could be wrong as well.

Only those that were registered prior to October 1986, same as with fully automatic weapons: only those that were registered prior to October 1986 are legally transferable.
BTW, I think the NFA paperwork is taking WAY longer than 5 months, unless they’ve vastly improved things in the last few years.
