Have heard this three times in the past half hour. Female host asks, "how did these guys get assault weapons in France? France is not the United States where assault weapons are easy to come by". Later expert said "this is the fear of American officials- hitting soft targets in this country when guns are so easy to come by." Moments ago said "police in this country are not prepared to blunt an attack such as this considering how easy guns are to obtain." Second expert claims "refugee's fleeing this same violence- just a few cases of refugee's causing problems".
Denial, it ain’t just a river in Egypt.
I predict that at least one of the terrorists is a relatively recent immigrant to France.
I heard them pushing the anti gun BS also. They apparently do not realize that most Americans will see this as a very good argument for arming themselves.

There guns are banned in France, therefore, it is the guns and the lack of law banning them that are to blame. There’s no cure for stupid except Darwin.

Though not very common, select fire weapons ARE legal to won in the U.S. They’re just expensive to buy, expensive to feed, and last I heard the whole NFA paperwork process is taking about 5 months right now.
