MIAMI â Donald Trump remains the clear frontrunner in Florida and, a new poll of likely Republican voters shows, he can partly thank the unlikeliest of people for that: Jeb Bush.
With the former Florida governor in the crowded primary for president, Trump leads with a solid 27 percent support, with Sen. Marco Rubio a distant second at 16 percent, followed by Dr. Ben Carson (15 percent), and Sen. Ted Cruz and Bush (about 12 percent each), according to Viewpoint Floridaâs newly released survey of 2,047 likely Republican voters in the state.
Without Bush in the race, Trump has a problem: He gets no added benefit, but Rubioâs support jumps up so that he almost ties the frontrunner, 24-27 percent. The rest of the GOP field is essentially unchanged.
Without Rubio in the race, however, Trumpâs lead ticks up a percentage point, to 28 percent. But Bush doesnât then come in second. Instead, Carson and Cruz vie for second place and Bush remains in fourth, with 17 percent support.

This has got to be a fake poll. Everyone knows that Glyconutrient Ben is surging and beating Trump everywhere.

Give 'em h*** Donnie?
...What does Ben Carson have in resume that even comes close to Trump?
Well said, indeed.
Carson is a brilliant surgeon -- an expert at diagnosing study problems and understanding complex systems, in particular, the human body. His people-skills and lecturing skills are also extraordinary.
Even still, the scale of his experience cannot be compared to Trump’s. Imagine the political and managerial skills it requires to build a skyscraper in New York or Chicago!
And then there's the Turnberry golf course in Scotland where he patiently negotiated for several years with the local authorities about environmental and restricted zoning rules.
But more than that. Here is a man who has been in the public eye for decades — as an entrepreneur, best-selling business book author. He practically invented the category of business-reality-TV star.
A life-time of accomplishments and media coverage has led him to this point. America would be foolish to turn away a man of such extraordinary talent at such a dangerous moment in the life of the free republic.
What we need is someone who can begin right out of the gate and would not need to hold anyones hand. Ben is a real nice man, but not ready for prime time.
This is why it has to be Trump. He's the only one to get the huge crowds and crazy high tv ratings. None of the other candidates even come close which says they can be knocked out easily.
But they can't stop the people from coming to see Trump. Therein the problem with their polling strategy, doesn't add up.
